4) I got caught up in Patapon and DIY fever. Completed the game AND completed my syllabus.
5) Watched IRONMAN twice in one day. That's a major feat.
6) Ji-soo is quite possibly preggers. Haha. With Mu-Yeong's kid. This is news that is yet to be confirmed. Dad hopes the babies come on Hafiz's birthday which is damn weird but there you are. (and by babies i mean kitties.)
7) I have become an exercise fanatic. -_- I look forward to Tuesdays so I can go to yoga and dance class. (and then the rest of the week I sit around the lounge area and decide which classes I want to try next. Haha. And I haven't exhausted their list.)
8) I am positively filled with nervous laughter. It's preferable to tears and b****iness, but I feel like I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the fact that I actually finished studying my syllabus for marketing means I either went through it too fast, or I went through it too fast. i.e I retained nothing. *bites fingers*
9) Farhan has been the perfect rock. :) Thank you very very very much. Haha. Doesn't it please you that I haven't gotten emotional (like the last three years) when May comes along? Hmm? Hmm? Hahahaha.
10) I haven't thought about what I wanted to do after exams, which is weird. I mean, I HAVE bought um, shtuff, to do once exams are ovah, but I want to get all the money I can get as soon as freaking possible. (and maybe go to Osaka.)
11) 3 friends have gotten/are getting ... engaged/married so far this year.. I know one is getting married in December. Hahaha. So that makes 4! Kahwin2 time!! (the boy's friends included makes 6. WAH!)
12) The M subject is kind of getting to me. A friend told me her cousin was worried that her daughter (who coincidentally was my schoolmate) doesn't have a boyfriend and will not quote "be able to" /quote get married. -_-
Ape. Saje. We're only 23 cik. Relax lah.
The subject has of course come up in my case. Heh. And, oh sorry, no details. :)
13) I haven't seen Aida or Sri in yonks. That's terrible. *shakes fist*
14) I am only blogging right now because it's preferable to kinda, blog instead of, you know.. write out definitions. Haha. Which I will do, once this blogpost is done.
15) Business is getting on well, despite my um, absence. Haha. But more will come. I can feel it in my bones.
16) I need more snacks if I'm going to stay up tonight.
17) I have new albums in my MP3 player: Guster, Plain White Tees, and All American Rejects, not to mention Sweeney Todd, Frou Frou (Imogen Heap), and an assortment of the Pixies, Cardigans, Bryan Adams (woo!) and The Verve Pipe. (and I think these are the only things (besides the boy) keeping me sane.)
20) The boy has started his, "Saturday I have soccer with the boys.." To which I exclaimed, "What Saturday!? Saturday is Hana day! What soccer?! What soccer?!" And to which he calmly replied, "I'm going to have to buy boots and stuff..." And to which I said, "Haha. Ok. Have fun. But Sunday is Hana day!! IRONMANROCKS!!"
Haha. I am still in love. :)
Speak to me, when all you got to keep is strong Move along, move along like I know you do And even when your hope is gone Move along, move along just to make it through Move along Move along
Ok. Hitting the books now. See you in 2 weeks time earth-o!
Photo of the month (har!)
I have changed my laces to reflect the colour of the sky. (and the boy is very tiny.)
I took a good look at the past prelim papers for IBM, and right now, at 7.42am, I have NO idea if it's still a good idea to go for today's mocks.
*pulls at face*
I have 2 choices.
1) Fall completely apart and just give up for today, and not darken that hallway later...
or
2) Go there, sit for 20 minutes and stare at the paper, write pointless answers I know are never going to be marked, then leave the room.
Hmm.
I think the worst is still to come. (and by worst, I mean everything including tempers, moods, behaviour, all that jazz)
I re-read blogposts from '07 and '06 - the Feb- March entries, and I have to say.. I was still pretty relaxed then.
Maybe it's got to do with this being the final sprint.
Or maybe it's got to do with the fact that there's only 2 papers left. Two miserable papers in my opinion.
My past April entries don't do it either. Where is the b*tching and moaning and groaning and whatnots? (and I know I participated in a lot of that)
Then again, maybe it's due to the fact that I did not have a job then.
Hmm. Okay. It's settled. Instead of going for the mocks today, I shall simply be a wonderful person and go to the library at JE today.
And then, just maybe, I can participate in that other mock next Saturday. (which should be the one I ought to mug for)
I wish I could put work on hold, and if it were not for the stupid CPF dateline, I SO would. But I do have responsibilities to my clients and in this case, there is no choice. Argh. It's driving me kablooey.
Hence, I could :
1) Do everything and see that everything is in place before March starts (and before I start panicking even more)
or
2) Well, there's not much choice. I have to do the above.
Oh God, this is INSANE. I am officially going nuts on my blog.
This is me, hyper-ventilating/panicking.
Please help me God.
~*~
I shall go get ready to go out and do whatever it is that needs doing.
Haha.. You know what they say about people seeing a glass half empty or half full?
Farhan's actually a totally empty glass with holes. hehehe...
And he says I'm not even a glass. I'm a freaking plate. Haha.. Because I just receive everything from people. And he doesn't mean just the good.
HOW-FREAKING-EVER, right now, this amazing Glass Plate is SHINING so BRIGHT it will soon burst with AWESOMENESS!!
WHY??? BECAUSE I FINALLY PASSED FIVE UOL PAPERS AT ONE GO!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA... OMG. THE RELIEF!
That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. All credits. Hahahahaha..
There are people to thank for the above results.
The first of course is the mother, the one with the pep talks and the sending of myself to Singapore Expo every single day of the exams and the one with the hugs and the advice, and the much much needed giver of food and beverage at three in the morning. :D
The next is the Boy, who had to sit next to me while I studied, made sure I focused on the exams, and not on other shtuff. He made sure I got enough medicine when I got sick and made sure I ate after every mugging lesson. He's also the one who urges me to unwind when I need it, and to go to class when I'm feeling extra bleh-ness. He picked me up after school even when he was tired, if only to give me an extra boost.
I thank the both of you for being there, and for being uber-cool even though I was a nasty person when I was stressed. Thank you so much for believing in me.
There are other stuff that happened today, but I currently don't have the energy anymore. Haha. Adrenaline rush is all gone kapuut. :D
And so, this is the Glass-Plate Girl, Signing off,
Exam hall at Expo. You could live there like an Eskimo if you wanted. Never ending breath of frozen air.
Monday : All ready and um worked up for Management Math. Got to the paper, still ok.
Tuesday : Sociology paper. Was ok. EXCEPT OUR QUESTION WASN'T THERE!!!
*takes a deep breath*
My life hangs in balance. Haha. Chey. Ok lah. Not so much. But I REALLY REALLY want to pass Sociology. Really.
So the thing with it was... There was supposed to be 8 questions, the first two are compulsory while you're supposed to choose one out of the remaning six. However -:
1) LSE (London School of Economics) printed only 6 questions IN TOTAL.
2) Students in Singapore, Hong Kong and some other 'Zone B' countries had prepared to do an organization question. WHICH NEVER CAME OUT because of (1).
3) Hence students rock paper scissors the given questions (some like me proceeded to do elimination method and got the wrong answer obviously) and answered what they THOUGHT was the Organization question.
4) EXCEPT IT WASN'T EVEN THERE WAS IT??
And then this afternoon I got this in the mail:
Dear Students who sat for the Principles of Sociology exam on 15 May,
We are aware that Section C of the exam only provided a choice of 4 questions when there were supposed to be six and the last question on Organisations which students should answer was one of the two questions missing from the exam paper.
The LSE became aware of the situation only after SIM told them yesterday evening. Apparently there was a printing error when the paper was produced in London. The printing error was not picked up and affected candidates in Singapore, Hong Kong and a few other countries. We are all sorry that this happened. It really should not have. The University will issue a statement about this on the UOL website later today or tomorrow.
Mrs Gosling would like to assure students that no one will be disadvantaged. She has asked me to express her concern and that she hopes students will stay focused on your other papers and do well in your other exams. Don't worry about the Sociology paper now that it is over. Thank you.
*grumbles*
Haha. Haiya. But then ah, no use getting upset with the whole thing lah horh. Everybody angry and upset already. I should just relax. :) And make all the other people calm down. Eeet - ees - deestani.
I mean, think about it. Those who actually studied hard for the Organization question (unlike me) never even got the chance to PROVE that they um studied hard for the question. haha.
Then again, I won't be so happy if I like have to re-sit the paper. *shudders* And I'm not paying no money for something LSE did. (kalau SIM lain cerita lah.)
Wednesday : HRM Paper was all right. :) Hoping for the best.
Tomorrow till the 25th... Mugging hard for Financial Management which I haven't touched in ages. Argh.
But all's good, Alhamdullilah. *beams*
Hope your days were great too.
I MISS HANGING OUT WITH YOUUU. JUNE COME FASTER LEI.
Disclaimer : Hana apologizes for the amount of capital letters in this blog post. It is indeed her THOUSANDTH blog post and hence, she's a Kelakarian. Say it with me people!
