Reason #87 why I still laugh with you :
The Rubbish some Travel Agents get from their customers :
I had someone ask for an aisle seats so that his or her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.
I got a call from a woman who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information when she interrupted me with "I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts. "Without trying to make her look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Capecod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa." Her response ... click.
:)

Today was a misadventure.
But it turned out all right.
:)
Thank you mother dearest for the advanced birthday present! Woo hoo! *raises arms high high*
She bought me 10 packs of clay from artfriend! Wheeeeeee!~
(which reminds me that I have to put up my wishlist - I have many siblings - so they all know what to get me. heh heh.)
Ok. That's all there is! There isn't, anymore. (tennet.)
~*~
Thank you, you.

Tired. And yay! I'm going to bed in 10 minutes!
But of course, I will blog first!
Today I went to Daiso and bought like, a lot of stuff. Among these wonderful stuff are 4 packets of polymer bake-inside-oven-to-harden clay, and I've been at them since, dunno what time.
Although they're a little difficult to work with, the results were okay. :D
And although I'd love to put up the pictures right now, I don't have the energy to do so!
And on top of that, my hands smell strongly of apple - because I've been coating all the clay stuff with nail varnish, perisa epal! Haha. But now I think I'm just woozy from the smell. :S
And! (wah banyaknya and!) I want to post up a conversation that mum and Hakim had this morning which totally made my day :
~*~
(the conversation began because mum's Starhub box set went wonky)
Me : Macam mana boleh rosak mak?Mum (dengan penuh selambanya) : Lepas mak tengok TV mak hempas benda tu. (what she meant was : Manalah Mak tahu macam mana benda tu rosak!?)Me : ???? T_T Hakim : *thinks....*Hakim : Mak, hempas tu ape?Mum : Ye lah, lepas Mak tengok kan Mak lempar benda tu kat lantai sumer.. Hakim : .......Hakim : Kenapa Mak pergi hempas?Mum : Ya Allah, tak paham-paham budak ni...Hakim : *frowns at mum* Siapa?~end of silly conversation~ (because Mak dah tak boleh menang lagi. hahahaha.)
Ok! Going to bed now! Pictures tmr! Wheeee! Night!

photo vomits. yet again. :D
Sunday was a blast. :D Mum took Huda (i.e the rest of us too) out to survey potential JC campuses. We were enroute to Nanyang JC when typically we missed the entrance. Hahahaha. As usual lah kan. :P
And mum was like, looking for a U-turn.. And then eh-eh.. termasuk Toa Payoh. Lol.
So okay, mum decided to show Hakim our old flat.

I couldn't believe how different and similar the place is. The thing I miss most about my old neighbourhood are the old trees of course. Rain trees all around. (217! hehehe..)

Old post boxes. Ahha.. That's our old one. :)

Haha. Proof that I actually grew taller. I used to be able to walk under this slab of concrete without stooping.
Mum actually knocked on the door of one of our neighbours
just to show Hakim how our old house looked like. Funny thing was, our neighbours placed everything exactly the same as we did. :) I miss my old house.

After that I treated the monsters + mummy monster to dinner at Seoul Garden. Haha. Cheeken bulgogi/teriyaki/schezuan/tom yam all around. (which amounted to my stomach ache this morning.)

One miserable piece of banana muffin. Which tasted... really bad. Haha. (hence the stomach ache.)
Ok. One last photo. :) What typically happens when Farhan comes over to have lunch with me on Wednesdays.

I have to share him with Wee Lin. Lol. Ah well. He doesn't look - not pleased. Hahahaha.
Ok. I think I'm getting a virus or something. Throat's all dry even though I've drunk so much water today. Eeurgh.
Good night world! Lots of love all around...
Nothing's gonna harm you...Not while I'm around...No one's gonna harm you, no sirNot while I'm around...~Mrs Lovette
And then she delivers him to
the Vulture. :)
Sweeney fever still on. Goody goody goody.

the house is silent.
'Cause my two monsters plus Mum and Huda are at Phuket. *wry smile*
Sent them off at the Budget terminal around 7am. Ahha.. And when I got home at 745am, they weren't even on the plane yet. Hur hur.

They'll be back on Wednesday with (hopefully) lots of Thai things for me. I asked mum for Pad Thai, but I'm not sure if she will bring it back. Maybe even tupperwares aren't allowed on planes nowadays.
I did ask Hakim for a birthday present haha (jokingly of course) and he thought i was serious and kind of mentally slapped himself at the airport because he forgot to bring MONEY TO CHANGE TO THAI BAHT. So sweet lah itu budak. Haha..
Anyways, Hafiz and I (because of lack of things to do - no monsters to shout at) decided to rename Mu-yeong to Ngeow. Cause we believe that he is a Pokemon, and Pokemon can say their own name with different expressions.
See? Now Ngeow can tell you his own name.
~*~
Watched Beowulf over the weekend..

Haha.. I just love the seats at GV max. (not GV Grand. two different things kay?) Comfy.. And you can actually slouch and people can still walk in front of you to get their seats.. Haha.. lurp lurp.

Hmm. Okay. Thoughts about the movie. Way too many buttocks. Hahahaha.. NC16 ke perr.. I nearly lost it when I thought Anthony Hopkins was going to lose his toga. *coughs* One fight scene between Beowulf and this guy Grendel :

-was freaking hilarious. Hahaha.. I shall not delve into why it
was, it just is. ok?
Visual wise, I thought it was really well done. haha.. Really looked like actors acting on screen instead of animated actors ala Polar Express (which I didn't watch heh.)
Hafiz is right though. Beowulf said, "I am Beowulf!!!" too many times. Haha.. Like, WE KNOW DUDE!
*gives the movie a 7.5/10 rating*
Angelina Jolie has high heels! hahahahahahahahhaa...
~*~
I should be sleeping now.
But the house is too quiet.
Miss my monsters.
On a brighter note, I get to see You!(yesyou!whoopee!) tmr. Haha.
All right. Ngeow and Ngeow's sister have to be carried out of my room now. Good night world.
Last photo of the day :

Handiwork of Ngeow and company. I LITERALLY lost my ctrl key for a few days. Then found it again on my desk. -_-
K bye world.

Cita-cita saya. (My ambition.)
A conversation with the Omma in the car :
Me : You should have asked me when I was a kid, what I wanted to be when I grow up. Mana tahu kaklong cakap kaklong nak jadi lawyer ke.. doctor ke..
Mum : Loyar? Doktor? Magistrate?
Me : *rolls eyes* Ye lah.. I mean, I asked Hakim and he says he wants to be a pilot. How come you never ask me..?
Mum : Mak tanya ape.. Mak tanya kaklong, "Kaklong dah besar nak jadi ape?" Abeh kaklong jawab, " Tak tahu..." So mak cakap lah :
"Takper, kaklong cita-cita jadi orang dulu okay... Lepas dah jadi orang baru boleh cita-cita nak jadi benda lain."Me : ....
~*~
Haha. I was all of three when she asked me what I wanted to be. -_- No wonder become like this lah.. Haha.. Ade aje tau.
~*~
I realize that my blog has become a hybrid of Malay and English, and I apologize to the non-Malays who come here time and again and then don't understand a word I'm saying. Haha.
Well, it's a chore to translate, and when it does get translated, it's not funneh anymore lah horh. Haha..
K, I had a fruitless day today. And by that I mean I didn't consume any fruit. Hahaha.. LAME LA HANA.
Brain is fried. Shall go before I produce anymore useless lame nonsense.

Of dapurs and clever little brothers..
The boys are at Mak Busu's because today she's taking them to Escape Theme Park. Ahha. Lucky little monsters ehhh..
Anyways, while I was there for Khairul's tuition yesterday, Hakim started making a paper hat out of A4 paper because he was bored. And then he asked me to tear/cut a bit at the top so that the hat becomes a beak. And when I had done that, I commented that he wastes a lot of paper doing all that lah. (He has this weird obsession with A4 paper.) To which he said :
"Alah, Hakim boleh jual pat skolah ape." (I can sell them at school what.)
And I'm like. HUH?

"Hakim jual paper-paper merepek ni pat skolah?" (You actually sell these nonsense things at school?)
"Yah." *still works his beak paper*
"Abeh kawan Hakim beli?" (And your friends actually buy??)
"Yah. Diorang tak pandai buat. Hakim jual pat diorang satu lima posen." (Yah, cause they don't know how to make them. So I sell them for 50 cents each.)

I tell you, he's going to be a big businessman one day.

~*~
Mum picked me up on Tuesday and we went to buy cat food and also went to wash the car. On the way to these places, we passed a few estates where the house all
sebuah-sebuah you know? And because my biggest dream in the world is to have me one of those, I started asking mum what the prices for these houses are (because you know, she's a housing agent and all that. Hur hur.) and where the cheaper houses/ estates are.. blah blah blah..
And then she said,
"The houses at Woodlands quite cheap.. You know, the ones near SAS.."
Me : "Really? That's great... Got other places?"
Mak : *thinks* "Oh yah, have.. Somewhere at Lim Chu Kang. Freehold some more.
Tapi susah sikit tau Kaklong, rumah yang ini ada pelik sikit. Dapur dia sebelah atas.. Abeh living room dia sebelah bawah."
And then you have the ever-stupid me practically VISUALIZING a four storey house with the kitchen in the top most level.
Me : "So where exactly in Lim Chu Kang is this cheap freehold land?"
Mak : "
Eh kaklong, bukan freehold sajer tau.. Sorang dapat satu plot! Kalau kaklong nak tahu, tempat tu pat Lim Chu Kang, tapi ramai orang panggil tempat tu Pusara Abadi."
Diperkotak-katekkan once again. Takper, takper...

Ladiessss and Gentlemennnn!
In a WAH turn of events, I am actually up before 12pm and bathed before 2pm. (hmm. I sound like a really naughty child.)
Will be out in half an hour if the weather permits, to do some financial management, (which I have shirked for more entertaining aspects of life.) and to sip some delicious Cafe Galilie hot chocolate. (which I get for $1.99, don't play play.)

So far, my exam period has been horrible. But then again, it was either a month long exam period, or a 2 week exam period with 2-3 days of breaks in between. *nods soberly* I prefer the month long period. I had 3 consecutive days of exams, and by the third day, my body was begging for sleep.
Woe is me.
Anyways, for some basi news, the UOL exam missstake was featured in The New Paper (wohoho) and so was my lecturer. Haha. I found out from one of my friends that he was extremely angry with the (exam) paper, but to my disappointment, didn't really seem upset at all when featured in the (news) papers. Ah well.
I've been keeping myself exam-brain-free with this little game. It's seriously for people who :
1) Are crazy.
2) Like jigsaw puzzles.
3) Have no other way to spend their time besides studying.
4) Are like me.
Here's a screenshot :

Yes, ladies and gentlemen.. Besides being awfully difficult, it is also, White.
Hafiz thinks I'm nuts. But there you are. (please refer to point 1.) I'm at level (18x13) now. That's jigsaw-nerd speak for Level 15.
To also play this seemingly easy game,
CLICK!I also miss the boy. *sniff sniff* I've only managed to meet him once since my exams started. BOO. :(
OH WAIT! I FORGOT!!!
HAPPY BURTHDAY MAKKKK!!!!!! WHeeeee! *throws confetti*
Ahha.. I'll be back later to properly wish you horh. *beams*
Ok. 15 minutes left. The weather seems better.
Churrah~

A Jamban Surprise.
The toilet in my parents' bedroom stopped working two days ago.

Mum taped the cover, because some people (i will not mention names) keep USING IT. *faints*
Today, this sign appeared on the bathroom wall. I'm guessing mum was kinda fed up already.

Translation :
Notice! Our toilet is faulty!!! Please
shit remove your bowels at :
(a) School, (b) Workplace, (c) Uni/Poly, (d) The Kitchen Toilet, (e) All Of The Above
Do Not remove your bowels here until this toilet is repaired. (when that is, I don't know yet.)

Spotted hanging at the bus stop of Maju Camp. *chortles*

Visited Farhan's school today because of a momentary crisis at
my school. :)
Thank you once again dear.

Mr. Farhan is watching you. Go to the hall now! After dinner at KFC, we went to Value Shop where Farhan bought a couple of teaching necessities. *laughs*
Looks more like a household shopping list. Hehe..
~*~
Momentary crisis consisted of me losing my head and wanting to pound a couple of people's faces into the wall. -_- Don't look at me like that, of course i didn't do it.
Satisfied myself with a little cry in the toilet, going out and facing the same people, left them to ponder what the pissed-off look on my face was about, and caught a bus to Farhan's school.
Sigh. I hate getting pissed.
*sidetracks* Did you know that pearls melt in vinegar? I should try that.
Anyways, I have to go do other important shtuff. :) So i'll leave you with one more photo.

It's as clear as taking a picture with my camera. I loike.
K. Goodnight.
Where are the freaking mosquitos coming from???

To see a fine lady upon a white horse
Photo vomits coming your way!

My campus is about as pink as you can get.. With all the heart hangings and a bazaar! Haha. I got henna-ed again. *laughs*

There was a huge uh balloon display in the middle of the atrium and students were encouraged to write their 'messages of luurrrvveee' on post-its and post them there. Hehe.

While students were enjoying themselves with bangra? music inside, THIS was happening outside. Constructions for my escalators! Haha.. My eh? Tak tahu malu. *laughs* I don't know why, but it seems everybody likes to watch the contruction taking place.

After that, mum picked me up to go to make my new spectacles! Hahahaha.. Guess how much? :p $118 for both lenses and frame AND INCLUSIVE of a pair of COLOURED contact lenses. Hahahahahahahaha.. Hepi benar gue. :D (yes. i got carried away with the swirlies. neber mind lah. haha..)

The brother tagged along and got HIS specs done too. And after that, we went to Mustafa! And encountered this big-ass calculator! (pronounced kalakulator.) Haha.. Can you imagine if you bring this into the exam hall?
*Hafiz raises his hand* : "Excuse me? Can you get me another table to put my calculator? No space to write my answers."
Hahaha.. Nonsense. And it looks like i photoshopped the calculator. I didn't lorh. It's THAT big.

Then mum found a gold bar inside a box of mandarine oranges. Haha.. She kept asking Hafiz to buy Cindy his gf a gold bar. Hahahaha.. Inside joke but yeah. Sikit2 gold bar. HAHAHA.. Nonsense.
It's so obvious where we get out gila-ness sense of humour from. *beams*
*hugs mummy* Have a great day ya.
And to the rest of you who do celebrate today, Happy Valentine's!

JC graduation dinner rocked leii.
It was a BEAUTIFUL night last night... There were candles, chandeliers, waiters.. And most of all, my friends.... God, I love them so much.. hahaha... It was my BIRTHDAY cum GRADUATION NIGHT last night... It was wonderful... Like a DREAM come true... hahaha... And It would have been more wonderful if i actually had a PRINCE CHARMING to spend it with...
But, whatever... I enjoyed myself to the max... The whole event couldn't have been more PERFECT... I had a makeover, which COSTED $98.. courtesy of MUMMY, then we walked from the Mandarin hotel to the GRAND HYATT, which is like, fifteen mins away..
At the hotel, I met Roo, who gave me my first birthday pressie... Hehehe... A name bracelet... SO CUTE... He was wearing this nice black jacket over a maroon shirt... and a hat, DON'T FORGET THE HAT... hahaha...
The hotel was PACKED... I couldn't find my friends.. and my schoolmates, were just GORGEOUS!!! hehehe... In short, we spent the entire evening TAKING PHOTOS. Hahaha... it was like a big bloody photography session.. BEAUTIFUL.... hahaha... we just couldn't stop taking the bloody photos... EVERYBODY BROUGHT A CAMERA... hahaha... bloody funny... we took pictures right through the concert, dinner, etc... etc... hahaha...
My table consisted of Yok Khee, me, Aida, Hoongkie, Farhan, Mat, Khai, Akbar, and Ron.. OOH, the guys looked handsome and the girls looked sooo pretty.. I can't emphasize that enuff... hahaha
The food wasn't much, but I could barely taste it laa.. hahaha.. (busy taking bloody photographs)
But what I liked most about the whole event was the fact that I spent it with FRIENDS. You know that they're your friends when:
1) They take the trouble to find the floor manager and ask them whether they could make the announcement that it was my birhtday.
2) Your friends start shouting your name at the top of their voices when the emcee annoucnces that someone is celebrating their birthday on that day...
3) They're angry that the floor manager didn't heed their request... hahaha... It was Mr Quek's birthday too!!!
4) They take the trouble to hide your birthday card from you.... when they're seated on your right or left...
5) They give you a box of chocolates... Ferrero Rocher!!!
6) They gather after the whole thing just to wish you happy birthday...
Like I said.... It was BLOODY PERFECT.
