So I lost my phone. For the first time in 10 years of owning a phone, I lost my bloody phone.
Yes, that new shiny, red and white one.
I kinda felt that I'd lose this one. I don't know why. I had a premonition I suppose. But hey. What's lost is lost. :)
So I took the necessary steps. Except now, I have no more phone numbers of people.
Haha.. It's irritating, work-wise, but I'll be at work tmr, so I can update all their particulars then.
Other than that, I kinda see it as a deletion of the past. Hahaha. I sometimes keep numbers out of a sense of responsibility. I think ah. Hahaha. But now that it's gone, YAAY!
Tomorrow I will call the cab company, to see if there is a kind Samaritan who sent it to the lost and found. Haha. No, i am not hoping for good news.
~*~
That said, I wanted to talk about irritating people today. (except Patapon 2 is kinda calling out to me.. shite.)
Ok. *controls herself* Anyway, I wanted to rant about some people. And I guess this has been a long time coming lah. There are lots of people who irritate me - and some even make me super duper angry that I have no choice but to imagine punching them in the stomach, kicking them in their unmentionables - or something less gruesome if you will.
But then again, I already have my listening ear, and I do calm down immeasurably when he listens. And for that, I'm thankful.
Thank You. And thank you for keeping me grounded. (kalau tidak habis dah I melenting betul-betul.)
Heh.
~*~
Besides that, we had an awesome birthday celebration for Hafiz. I ordered the cupcakes I've been super-longing for from Maya.. Dapattt jugak makan your cupcakes eh? They were SUPERB. Loved loved loved them.
My brother even went so far as to save one of them for this girl he likes. Hahaha. Kental. :p The brother, not the girl, and certainly not the cupcake. Lol.
So I have work tmr, and therefore I should sleep. Loooooong day ahead. Hahaha.
But I feel so much better knowing that you're not that far when I'm at work. :)
Hahaha. I only took 1 shot of yesterday's fiesta that was Karim's birthday. (mostly because I was hungry and Siti's mum cooked a lot of biryani.)
It was also the unveiling of the Conf.gang's first music video. (which reminds me that I haven't even linked them up yet. heh. sorry boys. you understand lah horh. hahahaha)
So Happy 21st Birthday Mr Karim!
2 adopted brothers and one crazy one. Ok lah horh. And Karim. Your face damn priceless can? Hafiz+Shamsul suruh dress up tanak. Padan muka.
p.s : MAN U kalah ok? Hahahahahaha.
And of course, the gang has earned a worthy mention on this blog of mine (cheh. macam mana punya cool lah kaklong dier ni.) and hence, I will put up their music video here. :D
Bloopers are too um, strong for this blog. (which also entertains the below 13s.) So pandai2 lah cari yer.
Hahaha. it's too bad you guys cussed too much on the bloops. I'd have put it up too. It was bloody entertaining. Hahahaha.
/edit: it also seems that Park Belakang-Rumah is a good place to shoot videos. hahahaha. Hafiz cannot find any other secluded locations. Lol.
Haha. I've been messing around in Photoshop for the last couple of hours.
The wonderful boy bought me THE nerd speccies of the year. (Yes Sri, the same pair I wore just now HEE.) Will post them up when I have editted the pictures to my liking.
/edit: hereitis!
I spent quite a few hours with the boy today, and we talked shop. And it's wonderful to have that with you. :D
I am growing and growing my light portfolio and I am absolutely afraid that I will never be able to choose the photos for my light project. *bites fingers*
I love lights.
I am also post-headache.
Two books are due tmr, and I really need to DO them. Haha. But no, I'm here updating my blog. *hugs blog*
I love shopping with Sri. I feel like a boyfriend. Hahahahahahahaha. I'm usually left trailing after her when we're in shopping mode. Which brings me to the funny incident at Zara, where Sri and the boy shopped, and I was left (boyfriend-like) holding on to their plastic bags and tripod. Hahahahaha.
Tapi I suka. Because you guys are happy. :D Awesomeeeee JACKET! I loike!
NERD SPECS WOO HOO!
sms sent to the dear sister : Salmon coloured sneakers! This year's birthday present! Ok thank you!
to which she replied : Lol wth. Okay. Will try to find.
:D:D:D I have the loveliest sister in the world.
To which the boy said : YELLOW SNEAKERS TAK SAMPAI SATU BULAN.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. So what. lagi 11 bulan baru dapat ape. chill ah.
All right! I will post up the Singapore River photos when I have finished my book(s).
I just cooked something funky from scratch. And the only person around to try it was Huda. Who declared it edible but also confusing.
I myself think that it tastes like a cross between the mee from Mee Siam (without the kuah) and Mee Birthday. (Huda agrees.)
In case you do not know, Mee Birthday is the Mee that aunties cook for you when you're having a birthday party or birthday celebration/BBQ/gathering. Chances are, you've eaten it during your birthday. And if anyone tells you it's mee goreng, you tell them they're mistaken.
Because Mee Goreng Kedai doesn't taste a bit like Mee Birthday ok?
(Mee Birthday also does NOT taste like Mee Hari Raya. The latter is served with fried chicken wings and drumlets.)
All in all, we ate everything before I could take pictures of it.
And yes. I was trying to cook Kway Teow Goreng. But I had no kway teow, so I used Rice Vermicelli, also known as Bee Hoon at home. Which isn't cheating because it's not kway teow and thank God it wasn't. HAHAHAHA.
Just so you people know, this birthday wish is coming a year late. :) Farhan wants Kway Teow Goreng (last year's birthday wish) and/or Roti Jala.
The condition is, I have to serve him the first Kway Teow Goreng I cook. But I didn't cook it tonight because I cooked Birthday Siam!
Haha. But ok lah. It was deemed edible, and Huda doesn't like to eat inedible stuff, and she finished her portion, so.. Ok lah for a first try.
Sayang.. Are you nervous yet?
/edit :
Apparently the noodle has side effects. Huda hasn't stopped giggling since she finished her bowl. -_-
She even had a Huda mini-concert all by her one-sy just to prove it to me.
And then she says, "What the hell did you put in the noodles?"
So today was a wonderful day and I'm supposed to sleep and I feel like sleeping and I'm going to sleep right after I type out this sentence and I just wanted to say that I am so very thankful to the boy who gave me four presents this year, one at a time and just smiled good-naturedly everytime I smiled in delight.
He gave me Marina Barrage today. And it was simply magical. Haha. I almost believed that he made it rain just to make me happy. :)
Pictures are up on Facebook, and I promise I'll post them up here soon. :)
Good night world. Haha. Next up, Date with Sri and Aida! Wheeeee!~
/Hello, tell me you know Yeah you figured me out Something gave it away And it would be such a beautiful moment To seee the look on your face To know that, I know that you know now.../
I am in a weird mood today.
I slept really early last night - 11pm. Unprecedented in the Hana Chronicles, but there you are. I had to make up for not sleeping the night before.
Haha. The reason for that was an early morning phonecall from a friend, which woke me up into a flurry of forced activity.
Yes. I was sleepy on my birthday. haha..
But the Boy was undeterred as we walked from Orchard to Lucky Plaza and took the train to Bugis and walked to Shaw Towers to find Sofra closed so we walked back to Bugis Junction and ended up at Swensens where I had my usual breaded chicken and FREE ICECREAM because it was my birthday minus embarrassing birthday song.
Ahem.
And then I just fell asleep on the train ride home. *smiles*
Tomorrow will be another birthday date! Wheeeeeee!!!!
(and this is because Farhan has confirmed what I have suspected all my life : That my birthday is a whole MONTH long. Hahahahahaha.)
So I should change it to Birthmonth.
Happy Birthmonth to meee~ Happy Birthmonth to meee~~ Happy Birthmonth to Hanaaaaaaaaa Happy Birthmonth to meeee~~
Today, the best boy in the world treated me to VIP tickets to Avenue Q, where he let me jump around and bop in my seat to the tunesofavenuequuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu weliveonavenuequuuuuuuuuuuuuu!~
And if that wasn't enough, he ALSO bought me the TSHIRT and the Soundtrack! Safe to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. :)
(and Huda is jealous as hell. Muahahahaha.)
Thank you so so much for this advanced-giler birthday present. *beams wide wide*
YKILY. :)
:D And here's the namesake of my teeshirt (and one of my fav songs) from the show. Enjoy!~
Bila masa ntah this font changed to Arial. I hate that font.
~*~
Anyways, here's my birthday Wishlist! (something that dear Farhan Suhada has been privy to since the beginning of time. Hahahaha.)
1) Sculpey Clay - 10 Colours Pack!
The good news for me/bad news for you : Mum already got this for me. Muahahaha.. Thank you many many!! I love you!
All is not lost lah horh. There are still MORE colours for you to purchase for me! :D:D:D:D Nak belikan the small little sets also cannnnnnnn. I'm not picky. I love clay!
2) Yellow Converse Sneakers
As in CONVERSE ALL STARS YELLOW sneakers. Some pointers :
I know it's next to impossible to find it in Singapore - unless you're a size 8 or 10. HMPH.
Haha. As (ALL) of my siblings pointed out, I can probably get another brand in the same colour. But I want converse leiii. *pouts* But if don't have boh pian right. Haha..
I love you all for your obvious effort in trying to procure me said sneakers. *hugs* Points for effort!
3) Scrapbook materials!
Here is my favourite shop! I just love the stuff there. Hahaha. And I don't care what you feel like getting me - stickers, brads, papers, albums, cardboard, etc etc etc - chances are, you'll buy their stuff too. LOL.
The Rubbish some Travel Agents get from their customers :
I had someone ask for an aisle seats so that his or her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.
I got a call from a woman who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information when she interrupted me with "I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts. "Without trying to make her look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Capecod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa." Her response ... click.
:)
~*~
Today was a misadventure.
But it turned out all right.
:)
Thank you mother dearest for the advanced birthday present! Woo hoo! *raises arms high high* She bought me 10 packs of clay from artfriend! Wheeeeeee!~
(which reminds me that I have to put up my wishlist - I have many siblings - so they all know what to get me. heh heh.)
Ok. That's all there is! There isn't, anymore. (tennet.)
He takes the time to go out with his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's girlfriends, on his girlfriend's girlfriend's birthday, JUST to have fun and take pictures of 5 mad girls. :D:D:D:D
And here is his work!
DO CLICK ON ALL THE PICTURES! TAKEN BY DSLR OK! DON'T PLAY PLAY!
I loveeee this photo lah can? Hehehehe...
And again!
Then we headed to our Siloso photoshoot!
Close-up!
This was just before we went to Sentosa!
(Farhan is tres genius.)
And now, my ultimate FAVOURITE ONE from Mr Farhan :
Click picture for best view!
:D I hope you had a wonderful time babe! I know WE did. Hahahaha.. And like I was telling Aida - tiap2 tahun aku celebrate birthday kau! Best!! Hehehehe!
(and i love this photo too - lepas dah ambik kena marah. Hahahaha... Tak glam langsung!)
So thank you Mr Farhan, for being the wonderful boyfriend that you are. :D:D:D
(and the last photo was taken by me horh. jangan buat malu k! Canon still good TAU!)
4) I got caught up in Patapon and DIY fever. Completed the game AND completed my syllabus.
5) Watched IRONMAN twice in one day. That's a major feat.
6) Ji-soo is quite possibly preggers. Haha. With Mu-Yeong's kid. This is news that is yet to be confirmed. Dad hopes the babies come on Hafiz's birthday which is damn weird but there you are. (and by babies i mean kitties.)
7) I have become an exercise fanatic. -_- I look forward to Tuesdays so I can go to yoga and dance class. (and then the rest of the week I sit around the lounge area and decide which classes I want to try next. Haha. And I haven't exhausted their list.)
8) I am positively filled with nervous laughter. It's preferable to tears and b****iness, but I feel like I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the fact that I actually finished studying my syllabus for marketing means I either went through it too fast, or I went through it too fast. i.e I retained nothing. *bites fingers*
9) Farhan has been the perfect rock. :) Thank you very very very much. Haha. Doesn't it please you that I haven't gotten emotional (like the last three years) when May comes along? Hmm? Hmm? Hahahaha.
10) I haven't thought about what I wanted to do after exams, which is weird. I mean, I HAVE bought um, shtuff, to do once exams are ovah, but I want to get all the money I can get as soon as freaking possible. (and maybe go to Osaka.)
11) 3 friends have gotten/are getting ... engaged/married so far this year.. I know one is getting married in December. Hahaha. So that makes 4! Kahwin2 time!! (the boy's friends included makes 6. WAH!)
12) The M subject is kind of getting to me. A friend told me her cousin was worried that her daughter (who coincidentally was my schoolmate) doesn't have a boyfriend and will not quote "be able to" /quote get married. -_-
Ape. Saje. We're only 23 cik. Relax lah.
The subject has of course come up in my case. Heh. And, oh sorry, no details. :)
13) I haven't seen Aida or Sri in yonks. That's terrible. *shakes fist*
14) I am only blogging right now because it's preferable to kinda, blog instead of, you know.. write out definitions. Haha. Which I will do, once this blogpost is done.
15) Business is getting on well, despite my um, absence. Haha. But more will come. I can feel it in my bones.
16) I need more snacks if I'm going to stay up tonight.
17) I have new albums in my MP3 player: Guster, Plain White Tees, and All American Rejects, not to mention Sweeney Todd, Frou Frou (Imogen Heap), and an assortment of the Pixies, Cardigans, Bryan Adams (woo!) and The Verve Pipe. (and I think these are the only things (besides the boy) keeping me sane.)
20) The boy has started his, "Saturday I have soccer with the boys.." To which I exclaimed, "What Saturday!? Saturday is Hana day! What soccer?! What soccer?!" And to which he calmly replied, "I'm going to have to buy boots and stuff..." And to which I said, "Haha. Ok. Have fun. But Sunday is Hana day!! IRONMANROCKS!!"
Haha. I am still in love. :)
Speak to me, when all you got to keep is strong Move along, move along like I know you do And even when your hope is gone Move along, move along just to make it through Move along Move along
Ok. Hitting the books now. See you in 2 weeks time earth-o!
Photo of the month (har!)
I have changed my laces to reflect the colour of the sky. (and the boy is very tiny.)
Hahaha.. It's 2 days to your birthday, I know, but you kind of deserve at least a week's worth of birthdays. :D Maybe a month's worth. Haha..
I am a lucky, lucky girl.
OH, and plus, Farhan won me Mr Panclarks! Wait, I show you.
Haha.. How does a guy cheer a girl up? He takes her to the arcade and wins her something!! Guys, really. (which means you have to brush up on your UFO catcher skills.)
Met Aida and Sri over the weekend. :D They gave me my belated birthday present, which consisted of a sort of hamper of
ART SUPPLIES
WHeeeee!!
Thank you girls :D:D:D
Anyways, after that, Sri had to get a belt for some reason, (ok lah, i know the reason, but cannot tell, shh.) and we walked around Marina Square in search of a belt.
And found this quaint little store.
And the first thing i said was : "Eh, macam rambut orang." ("Eh, like someone's hair..")
There.. those black strands. hahahaa... Like hair kan?! Hur hur!
Anyways, here are Sri and Aida and the shop owner, admiring Sri's waist. Hehehehe.. :D
Sri in the fitting room.. Hahaha.. Don't ask why you need to put on a belt in the fitting room. :p Only Sri (and Aida, and I) has/have the answer to that question. Lol.
Aida and I got kind of bored waiting for Sri, so we decided to.... Take more photos!
I like the 2nd picture. Kinda whimsical. Plus, Aida didn't know I was taking a picture of her. Haha..
We both liked the decor too much lah eh.. Hahaha..
After that was Bangsawan with Sri and the Boy.
Overall, music was great, script, a little garbled, and I wanted MORE humour dammit. hahahaha.. Oh well.
Aaaaaand, I'm finally FINALLY tired. (I just came back from a BBQ with my WRSS ppl. Wah. 7 freaking years sia.) More on that tmr I guess. Perhaps. Maybe. Agaknya.
Which reminds me. I have a test to study for, and a business plan to like, do.
Ahha.. I had an agency meeting on my birthday.. (Yes guys, I worked on my birthday. Hur hur.)
After that was agency dinner at Sanur, where my collegues surprised me with a Birthday cake!
The cake was really really good. Hahahaha.. I'm serious. I brought home two slices and they were devoured in like, 10 seconds by over-eager and hungry kids.
Collegues and Cake!
To everyone who asked, I had a wonderful birthday. :D Thank you thank you for all the smses and messages.
And, I should be asleep right now. 'Cept Hafiz is watching Dexter, and he's LITERALLY hooked. Dexter is deep and intriguing and absolutely morbid.
He rarely smiles, so this picture is really funny. Hahaha.. Okokok. Sleep i shall. Closing tmr! Yaayness!
Night world.
(Oh. Please please get well soon dear Boy. Take your meds and rest. Hahaha.. And that means no swordfighting! K, i kid about the last part. :D)
Hahahaha. I like his face lah. It looks damn rubbery.
Anyways, 'His' is not Mr Bean... It's actually....
Haha.. I can't believe the little monster is all of EIGHT! He certainly doesn't look like it. :p
So the five monsters plus Mummy Monster (this is all starting to sound like Sesame Street. just bear with me.) went to JEC to have Pizza Hut! Woo hoo!
Hafiz farted a lot there. SO BUSOK! Wah lau. I think the waitress also walked away as quickly as she could after he let one particularly smelly one fly. The rest of us unfortunately couldn't do the same. Extremely unfortunate that.
I think it's all the tuna you ate at your camp la bro. Smelly can?
After that, mum took us to IMM where we of course had fun at Giant!! You know, i think my family is the only family that goes YAAY! when the mother says we're going grocery shopping. Haha..
Anyways, IMM was about an hour to closing time, and hence there was hardly anybody about. So we had a lot of fun in general.
That was Aiz moonwalking. Man even I didn't know he could do that.
Haha. After that we piled mum's trolly with our junk food, and after a lot of laughter, dancing, farting in Hafiz's case, we went home.
Ahha.. So i started the day by getting a few pictures printed, :) they were mini birthday pressies, and yeah. I like. :D
Met the boy at 1030am at Jurong East and we were off to the Science Center! Once we got there, the mini celebration! (since there were just the two of us. haha..) (and right away instead of at the end 'cause i was scared the mini cake would melt. hahaha..)
the hero in his G2000 shirt. :)
After then, of course, presents!
the hero with his Nyeh t-shirt.
Ahha.. *beams* His next present was of course a trip to the Science Center! Hahaha...
1st thing you see at the Science Center.
Like really, when we were there, he kept saying all he saw were chess pieces. -_- Look at the black spaces can? Then when we got home and i showed the pictures to him again, all he had to say was : Ouhhhhh.....
Pengz.
I'd serve his head on a platter if i could. Hehe.
*giggles* I like this picture. hahaha... So cute. *wonders if anybody can tell how it's done* (besides farhan of course.) Hint : There's a line that shouldn't be there. :)
Genetically enhanced earring. Hahahaha..
Either my ear grew really, really big, or i'm now a human earring. :)
This picture is just disturbing lah eh Mr Boyfriend? Hahaha...
I like this photo laaa! Hahaha.. It looks like i was on tv then i took a picture of me on tv! Commercial selling a gap in the teeth! Woo hoo!
Anubis in a green coat!
We went for the iFuture exhibition as well (ends on 11th March if i'm not mistaken) , where there was a huge display of Mechanical Cabarets! *i lup i lup!* They were these little wooden displays that move when you turn the crank. It's so cool lah! Even if you're not interested in science, go for the Cabaret thingys! Very very nice. *beams*
Ended the day with a meal at pizza hut, where i had my Summer Vegetable soup and Zesty pasta.. yum yum.
And so to you, (since the 22nd hasn't ended yet...)
P.S : Aiya. Not fair cos Farhan published his blog first. Hmph. *laughs*
