Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku. Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip.
Pagi itu saya bersarapan dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu. Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya bersetuju untuk mengikutnya. Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah.
Lagi 8 kilometer lagi nak sampai pasar saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang. Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit "Adoi!". Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar lori itu pula.
Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya.
Emak saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua. Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu sangat marah. Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori.
Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia. Lori itu bertukar menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara. Emak saya tidak puas hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helicopter di Genting Highlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu.
Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula lalu terhempas di jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah. Pemandu lori sangat takut melihat kejadian itu. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya. Dia menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan kipas helikopter. Pemandu helikopter itu menjerit "Adoi..!" dan jatuh ke bumi. Emak saya menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands.
Bila dia balik ke tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris. Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih. Lalu pemandu lori itu mati.
Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi. Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit menggunakan pembesar suara.
Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.
Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati.
Saya dan emak saya terus lari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai ke rumah kami pun mati.
Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat sebelum saya mati.

So I finished reading the final installment of the Harry Potter books. To say I cried was an understatement lah eh.
(hmm. I think I actually sobbed at one point. It got that bad. Haha.)
I won't post spoilers till Harith the 4th brother finishes reading the book, (and there's also the fact that Huda hasn't even touched the book yet.) we're actually sharing the book between the 4 of us. Haha..
And I got it first! *jubilant smile*
I was almost sorry to finish reading it though. About three or four chapters toward the end, I found myself just staring into space, staring at anything except the book. (Um, I think this was the part I bawled.)
I mean, it really has ended hasn't it? No more waiting anxiously for the date of book release to come, no more trying-not-to-read-but-reading-anyway-all-the-stupid-spoilers -you-can-find-on-the-internet, no more ....
Wait! THERE IS MORE!

Movie Review : Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix
Hi people.. Haha.. Ok. Before I jump into the review.. Let me just say that, MOST of you WON'T BE SATISFIED with the movie. Uhuh. Uhuh.
That's because this movie is MOSTLY talk and very little action, unlike it's predecessors. And it is like that BECAUSE the book is that way. :) In anycase, again, it's just an accompaniment to the book, so if you want more... read the book!*end of defending the movie* :p
SPOILERS---------->
That said, I actually loved the movie, and I loved all the sets *THE SETS ARE STUNNING LAH MY GAD* and I loved Luna Lovegood and Snape was hilarious and my goodness the clues! The clues!
The clues were what kept me sitting forward in my seat and giggling at certain moments, and certain parts caused me to rethink certain scenes.
HP sleuth I am.
Clue #1 : The Hog's Head Barman and his Goats.
After reading an editorial on Mugglenet.com, I am convinced that the Barman at the Hog's Head is none other than Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore's brother!
Hahaa.. After seeing the movie, I have no doubt this is so. They took PAINS to actually include him in the scene, even though it was for only 5 seconds. With GOATS!
Evidence :
“My own brother, Aberforth, was prosecuted for practicing inappropriate charms on a goat. It was all over the papers, but did Aberforth hide? No, he did not! He held his head high, and went about his business as usual! Of course, I’m not entirely sure he can read, so that may not have been bravery...” ~Albus Dumbledore (GoF pg 454/394)
The Hog’s Head bar comprised one small, dingy and very dirty room that smelled strongly of something that might have been goats. (OotP pg 335/299)
The barman sidled towards them out of a back room. He was a grumpy-looking old man with a great deal of long grey hair and beard. He was tall and thin and looked vaguely familiar to Harry. (OotP pg 336/300)
Haha.. And then in the movie, we catch a glimpse of said individual for 5 seconds and he's surrounded with goats! Aberforth! We found you!
Clue #2 : Luna Lovegood
What is SO important about this little Miss that they put MOST of the scenes of Harry and her from the book into the movie?
Even the not-so-important scenes i.e when she is putting up notices for her misplaced items was added into the movie. I mean, I would have thought Sir Nicholas's conversation with Harry was more important than that little scene.
Still, there is the little thing about Lovegood being a Chapter title in the fifth book. Perhaps she'll die?
Perhaps Harry and her will get together! Oh say it isn't so! Lol.
Clue #3 : Snape
Haha.. A very good one I'm afraid. We can't tell whether Snape is the good guy or the bad guy from this movie. Like I told the boy after we watched it,
"On the one hand, Snape owes Harry's father his life, but James Potter got killed anyway. So he spends 6 years making Harry's life hell (because James was a bully), but at the same time, saves Harry's butt a couple of times. And then he ups and kills Dumbledore. So what do you do?"
What do you do?
Clue #4 : Kreacher
Haha.. Kreacher is the character that David Yates, the director of the movie, considered taking out of the film, but was convinced otherwise by JK Rowling when she told him that he would have some difficulty writing the seventh movie without Kreacher in it.
In fact, they didn't even show that Kreacher was the one who led Sirius to his death (as told in the book). They merely showed Harry having a conversation with him, and then we see Sirius shouting at him, telling him to leave. (Melayu panggil "berambus dari sini!")
Hmm... Curious...
Okay, anyway :
Reasons Why You Should Watch This Movie (in no particular order)
1) Dolorus Umbridge
Her "Hem hem"s will drive you nuts. So will her laughter. Hahaha.. It's a sign of really reaaalllyy good acting. At the end of the movie, you just want to slap her silly and rejoice when the Centaurs take her.
Harry : "I'm sorry Professor, but I must not tell lies."
*laughs*
2) Harry gets possessed
A bit like Linda Blair in the Exorcist without the vomit. *sneakers!* Harry lies in a pool of crushed glass (seperti pasir di tepi laut) and fights the Voldermort within. Wonderful acting.
3) The Weasleys
Ron grows up and is SO MUCH MORE COOLER than from the other movies.. Ginny gets flashes of irritation at Cho for hogging Harry to herself, and Fred and George don't even look 17.
And here, Ginny's wearing pants. And I'm still at a loss as to why.
4) Hermione flirts with Grawp and Ron gets jealous.
HAHAHAHA... WHAT THE HECK???? HAHAHAHAHAHA.
5) Argus Filch
Particularly when the boil on his nose burst. That was wonderful. Hahaha.. I can't think of any other person who can play Filch like he can.
Reasons Why You Won't Like The Movie
1) Too much talk, no action
Go read the book.

Anyways, there was a mix-up in movie theatres, which made me thank the stars that we got there early to collect the tickets. *phew*
We ended up watch Harry OOTP at Great World City instead of at Vivocity. Hahaha.. Which made for a good change since I've never been there (EVER) and neither has the boy.

A few days back, I was walking home from the 2nd bus stop from my house (because the lousy bus driver thought it prudent to give MY stop a miss) when I bumped into this Malay couple who were.. sort of fighting. Well, the girl was kind of shouting at the guy, calling him back to her. He was walking away of course. (haha)
She didn't notice me until she was actually shouting his name. Heh. And of course, they both noticed me at the same time. Whereupon, Miss Girl said, "Eh, kau tak dengar ke aku panggil kau?"
And Mr Guy said, "Eh, kau tahu tak kau macam orang gila?"
At this point of time I just wanted to laugh at the both of them.
Miss Girl : "Kenapa aku panggil kau tak datang?"
Mr Guy : "Pasal macam orang gila."
Then I was out of earshot already lah. Hahaha... What nonsense.
Ah well. Just now I heard the couple next to me arguing about how the guy doesn't sms lah. And the girl doesn't sms him back lah. And the both never come to pick each other up after work lah.. You know.. The usual arguments. Haha..
At one point the guy even said, "When I ask you question, you say "Nothing." But when I don't ask you, you get angry."

I guess a lot of couples fight about the "nothing" thing. Hehe..
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the boy and I never fight. Hahaha.. Ohhh.. We dooooo.. :p

Haha.. So I went to watch Transformers.. and yes, it's as good as all you people say lah. Hahaha.. The visual effects were absolutely stunning. And it was action-action-action-action all the way. Haha..

The show's about this writer, who doesn't believe in ghosts after the tragic death of his daughter. So he starts staying at hotels and haunted mansions etc JUST to see ghosts. (stupid kan? stupid kan?) Then he gets a postcard telling him, "Don't enter 1408." Haha.. And ONLY because he's silly, he goes to the Dolphin Hotel and requests to stay there, and of course, the Manager tells him he shouldn't do that, because 56 people have died in that room. Some violent deaths, some natural deaths.

And then John Cusack goes to 'stay-there-for-a-night' anyways. -_- 'Cause he's silly.
Reasons why you should watch it :

I met Crystal this morning and we took the same North-bound train. Haha.. I haven't seen her in yonks, but I still appreciate that I can speak to her just the same way I spoke to her when we used to walk to school together all those mornings, years ago. And that's a damn long sentence ah. haha..
She's going to spend her next semester at HAWAII for heaven's sake. *blink blink* And then spend a bit of time in NY and then LA. Can I just say here that I'm ABSOLUTELY jealous nak mampos? Hahaha.. Ok, ok. *reassures herself that her time to go to these places will come*
Anyways, Person #3 who gushed about Transformers.
"Have you seen Transformers anot?"
"Er no."
"WHAT??? HOW CAN??? GO WATCH LAH YOU!!! IT'S DAMN GOOD CAN? OK THIS WEEKEND YOU GO WATCH OK? I'M SERIOUS LORH! IT'S DAMN GOOD!!!"
Hehe. Crystal. :D I borrowed muffin trays from her mum to bake for MY mum's birthday. Simple really. Just run down, go to next block, go to ninth level, knock on door and request. hahahaha.. *smiles to self*
Went for class. Sat for 3 hours, revising. Spent the hour after that reading at Coffee Bean @ Singapore Post Center. Went to make-shift Pasar Geylang. Sat some more, waited for mum.
Mum sends me to tuition at Khairul's house. And then... while tuition was in session...
#4 person : Khairul.
"Kaklong dah tengok Transformers?"
"NO."
"Khairul tengok last week ngan family."
AND THEN.
#5, 6 and 7 : Amir, Amirah and Izzah.
"YOU MUST GO WATCH OK? OK? IT'S VERY GOOOOD!!!!" *multiple thumbs up*

That said, today's my last and final class for M9. *blinks* 3 days X 8 hours passed already? I SPENT 24 HOURS on that extra-loutly thick textbook??? My gawd.

Then must revise quick-quick for the exam next Friday. Tsk. My manager was right. I should have just taken it this Friday, so as to retain more info. Shrugs. Oh well.
Okay. I have to go. Sigh. It takes different times on different mornings to get to Paya Lebar. Why like that one?
Saturday was a blast and EXTREMELY tiring, but a BLAST nonetheless.
I took about a hundred photos, but seeing as blogger has very little space for me to keep uploading them one by one, I just did another slide show. Haha. I'm lazy like that. :)
It's nothing much. Just the NDP preview show. Hehehe.
Worth it to go watch this year's NDP.. Not for the mass displays, but for the Army Show! You know... NS 40 and all that. Fun-ness! I loved it. Hahaha..
