Hakim has been down with fever for about 4 days now.
And OF COURSE, the dreaded fever has spread to Huda and I.
I stayed at home to take care of the little boy. I hate it when he's sick. :( It's not so much the running around and doing stuff for him as much as it's the really pain he feels when he's sick. So kesian.
Tomorrow will be a loooooong but (hopefully) fun day. :D There will be another interview tmr! yaay! and then i'm picking up my graduation gown (finally) and after that I can finally see my two other other sayangs, Nabil and Iyad. Hahaha. Never see them for 2 weeks ok. Rindu.
I haven't been to yoga - so I haven't gotten my dose of Sri-ness lately, which I will! rectify! soon! and yeah. That's about it. Hahaha.
Oh yah. Farhan got his third iphone set yesterday which-shows-you-exactly-how-bad-that-phone-is, but of course he doesn't care. It's a new set! hahahaahhahaa...
And with that, i will end this blogpost. CHK&GEC ftw!
For the past three four days, I've been stuffing myself full of Boys Over Flowers. *hangs head in shame*
Opocot. It's Boys Before Flowers. My bad.
And I'm two episodes away from being up to date with everyone else on the planet who's watching in anticipation. Haiz.
*looks at the picture* Ok. His curly hair is giving me the wiggins. And speaking of wiggins, I wonder if i beg really really REALLY hard, dad will get me Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Hehz.
The plot is the same as Meteor Garden and the Japanese one, Boys OVER Flowers, and well.. Haha. I don't even know why I watch it. It has a different pull than when I was watching Coffee Prince (which is a MUST WATCH once in your life.)
I am such a JH/JD shipper it's embarrassing. Haiz. Although it obviously looks like stupid Gu Jun Pyo is going to get Geum Jan Di. Haiz. It was written that way in the manga and made that way for TV.
I HENCE challenge KBS to make Ji Hoo and Jan Di end up together. Muahahaha.
It will make JH's harabuji and ME very very very happy. :)
Like this happy :
Kan bagus tu macam gitu. :D:D:D
And then this picture is for Huda, who appreciates this kind of thing :
The story is not overly fantastic, script brilliant in some moments and heah?! in others (unlike that favourite show of mine. :D:D), costumes are downright weird sometimes, like all those.. fur things they like to put on Gu Jun Pyo *wiggins* and yeah. Me no likey the costumes.
(But Ji Hoo and Yi Jung get nice costumes leh. So is it a bit much to expect the same from Gu Jun Pyo? NO RIGHT????)
Haiz. This erratic blogpost is going nowhere. And I'm only typing it out because I am STILL 2 episodes away and I won't have a chance to watch them till I get back tonight.
So I was surfing for some Twilight fanfiction, and I came across this Yahoo! Answers post :
Question :
Twilight Fanfiction????
does anyone know any good twilight fanfiction like:
-bella is human; edward is vampire. no all-human or whatever. -edward is controlling and/or demanding -rated adult, r, or nc-17 -dark, angsty stuff- r*** or a**** or stuff
Answer :
If you take out the bottom two, you have the actual book.
~*~
*hehehe* Pwned.
Anyways. Yes, I am a sucker for fanfiction. I believe there are words and stories beyond the Canon. :) And I love love love fanfiction world.
That said, Twilight fanfiction needs better ... writers. Hahaha. And I can't wait till someone makes a Buffy/Harry Potter/Twilight crossover. Do it! Do it! Do it! Because Buffy/HP is already bloody hilarious.
~*~
Ok. This is getting boring. I should post a picture of the beloved stereo that Mak Lang gave me (able to read SD CARDS, USB DRIVES, CDs, MP3s, dan macam2 lagi.) but I'm too lazy to take a picture. Hahaa.
Good news all around. :D I'm all set! *bounces up and down* Can't wait can't wait.
Even the cheque decided to make me happy and come today. Muahaha. I will look forward to my ad coming out. :D:D:D Cheh. Mine seh. hahahaha. I could get used to that though. I liked recording.
Right now I'm just surfing dailymotion. Their music videos are SO MUCH BETTER than at youtube. Aku suka.
And I just realised that I have nothing much to blog about. Hahaha. Today was quite a boring day. The only highlight was Hakim eating nasi ayam, then complained about his tooth which is like dangling on a piece of gum, who then fell asleep while eating said nasi ayam.
Ah-pe-sa-jer.
Okay, since i have nothing else to say, I will leave you with one of my favourite singers (who I still think should get married to Bryan Adams and make hot babies.)
Hahaha. I only took 1 shot of yesterday's fiesta that was Karim's birthday. (mostly because I was hungry and Siti's mum cooked a lot of biryani.)
It was also the unveiling of the Conf.gang's first music video. (which reminds me that I haven't even linked them up yet. heh. sorry boys. you understand lah horh. hahahaha)
So Happy 21st Birthday Mr Karim!
2 adopted brothers and one crazy one. Ok lah horh. And Karim. Your face damn priceless can? Hafiz+Shamsul suruh dress up tanak. Padan muka.
p.s : MAN U kalah ok? Hahahahahaha.
And of course, the gang has earned a worthy mention on this blog of mine (cheh. macam mana punya cool lah kaklong dier ni.) and hence, I will put up their music video here. :D
Bloopers are too um, strong for this blog. (which also entertains the below 13s.) So pandai2 lah cari yer.
Hahaha. it's too bad you guys cussed too much on the bloops. I'd have put it up too. It was bloody entertaining. Hahahaha.
/edit: it also seems that Park Belakang-Rumah is a good place to shoot videos. hahahaha. Hafiz cannot find any other secluded locations. Lol.
And so we, went for archery yesterday. haha. It was kinda cool though. I never thought I'd enjoy archery so much.
First-first biasa ah, "Dowan ah you.. So paiseh. So many people can watch." I am referring of course to the glass-showcase of an Archery Range at Suntec City (it's next to the arcade and The Rock.)
And then Farhan Suhada went and bought FIVE GAMES (well, 4, but we got one for free). And then the girl who served us told us we could SHARE the games between the both of us. We just couldn't share lanes ah.
And of course, I kinda got sucked into it when she went, "Oh, so what are you? Left or right handed?"
Hahahahahaha. Susah lah. This question is one of my many many weaknesses. It seems that I cannot help but be proud of my left-handedness.
So I said, "Left-handed." followed by, "Okay, I'll try it." And she went and got me a lighter, left-handed bow.
I happy can?
So here are pictures of our Archery Adventure. :D
Here's where you tap your card on the ezlink thingy and arrows appear! (it made Farhan bounce on the balls of his feet in excitement. lol.)
The girl who served us was very nice and (quite) erratic also. She was giving us instructions on how to string our bows when she suddenly looked out the glass window and went, "OHMYGODSOCUTE!" much to my amazement. Apparently there was a little girl taking her toy dog out for a walk just outside the window.
-_- she's as bad as I am.
They also provided us with ahem, protection (the leather strap on Farhan's forearm) in case the string makes a backlash for your arm.
Didn't work for me. The string went under the leather strap. >.>
Farhan was (unsurprisingly) consistent. All reds and yellows. No blues. AT ALL. -_- bloody bacin.
While mine was.. in a word, dismal. Hahaha...
So haphazard sia my arrows..
Arrows 8 and 9 are zeros by the way. hahahaha..
Oh yah. I forgot that before the whole archery experience, we went to Starbucks for a pick-me-up. Both of us were sleepy+groggy+generally sluggish. And the staff of Starbucks at City Link Mall made our day (well, mine at least) when they presented us with this :
Hahahaha.. Aku suka okeh? Apparently she didn't know if Farhan wanted his whipped cream in his hot chocolate or not, so she put it in a cup and gave it to him. Yummmmmmm whipped cream. And this picture is one of my favourites because of the bokeh!
Haha. I had to. :D Education ok.
And momma bear had....... *drumroll*,
This is my current most favourite drink from Starbucks Shopping Arcade. Everyone should totally add raspberry syrup to their drinks. Hahahahaha. It's super nice i'm not kidding. it also gives you a strange super high. But it could be the raspberry + caramel combo. Heh.
And here is of course Farhan's latest toy. Hahahahaha. Battling tanks!
Comes with remote controls and lights and reloading action and firing sounds and five lives and everything! Even a place to battle! Score!!!
This is how happy toys make him. Hahahhaa. I have found the perfect boyfriend. :P
And that's it from me today. :D Oh, we also sat and watched as rain clouds came toward us. hahaha.. While everyone was running for cover, we just sat there on our bench and watched the pouring rain from a distance. :)
And that was a first for me. Both the rain-chasing and the archery. And I loved it. hhahaha. We should totally do it again. Okeh? Okeh? OKEH!!!
Haha. Technically, if something were literally able to strike a chord within me, I'd imagine that chord to be a most resounding, rich, F.
I like F. F doesn't sound too overly happy like a C or a G, and not too sad like A minor. A minor's a sad note no?
Anyways, I was talking about chords because I just completed (like, finally) the last book in the Twilight series (i.e Breaking Dawn). Unlike its predecessors, I didn't devour the book. Hahaha.
Actually, i couldn't really stomach the book when it first came out. Haha. From the horror stories I heard from it, I kinda just steered clear away from it. Not even when Hafiz or Huda told me to read it.
But ok lah. I gave it a chance what, a week ago? Yeah. And today I completed it.
It wasn't as horrifying as I thought it would be. It of course didn't measure up to Rowling's bloodbath of a seventh book. No one died in the Cullen family (much to my disgust.)
I still feel that Stephanie Meyer played it too safe. That she was totally scared of offending her fans that were Team Jacob or Team Esme. Haha. Maybe they should have killed off Esme. I would have been happier (and sad) if they did. And the book would have at least gained a little respect from me.
But no. The Cullens lived happily ever after. She even made Edward call Jacob... son.
*shudders*
I thought the whole Nessie thing was hilarious though. I share Bella's absolute disgust for the nickname.
"You nicknamed our child after the Loch Ness Monster?"
Hmm. Oh yes, chords. haha. Well, the book struck a chord with me with Bella. She's fascinating to me. And I absolutely detest the fact that the movie Bella is so different from the Bella i like.
Ah well. You can't have everything in the world. :)
It's raining now, that light rain and it's still bright. Makes me believe I'm in Forks - if only for a while.
Let's see. I ought to put a picture right about now.
Hahaha.. I am so full! So so full! I SUKA SUSHI EXPEDITIONS CAN????
Pictures are on fb, but I will put them up here also lah, for your viewing pleasure.
So today, my girlies Sri, Aida and Fath and I met up at Causeway Point. Sri arrived first, and hence made a beeline for Charles & Keith - I don't know what about me makes her do that, but she seems to be in that store EVERYTIME I meet her.
And then of course she buys shoes. hahaha..
Aida and Fath arrived after, and we made a pit stop at John Little for some makeup, and then off we went to the shuttle bus point!
But because we were too hungry, we decided to just take a cab down to Sembawang Shopping Center. Hahahahaha. Tak guna jumpa kat Woodlands tau. -_-
Once there, 4 girls made a beeline to Hei, Sushi! And *drumroll* here are the pictures! :
First thing first, I didn't take many pictures lah. Buffet what. I ate a looott.
One of my favourite sushi in the world. :D But nothing beats Hana Maki. Hehe.
Eh yah ah. I didn't even take pictures of the salmon sashimi. Heh.
And! *bounces up and down* I really like the whole conveyor belt experience. hahaha. First time k. Don't say I jakun.
And suddenly I remember something funny Farhan said to me the other day :
"Why you always say me? Don't say me say me! Why don't say you why say me?"
Hahaha. Some cute kid told another cute kid that. I want cute kids too!
K, back to pictures.
Customary picture of the Sri-ness!
Girliesssss!!
Haha.. I really do. :D:D:D:D Sushi lurped.
In about half an hour, we lapped up 23 plates. :D Hahahaa.. Fath and Aida wanted to beat their record of 10 plates each.
Hahaha.. And the story for this picture goes,
Sri : "Hana.. Aku suka yang tu. Tapi aku nak makan yang atas je boleh?"
Me : *chortles* "Bolehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Aku makan nasi dia, no problem."
Fath ordered some Lotus Chips, and they tasted like potato chips. hahaha. :D
Hahaha. Sri was about to put one of these in her mouth when it landed on her plate mayo-face down. Hahahahahahahahaa. Splat.
Click for more info on Hei Sushi prices. :D
Then we completed the buffet with UDON bean curd/seaweed. Haha.. I don't particularly like udon, but i did like the soup. And the bean curd. :D
Oh and yes! We had Mochi dessert after that. Hahahaha. Peach for Aida, Fath and Me, and Sri had yam.
But no pictures because we gobbled them up.
And that's the end of the sushi expedition. I think we finished more than 40 plates in all. And 4 bowls of Udon. :D We then went to Dano, Daiso (Fath bought lotsss of stuff) and then lepak-ed at Starbucks.
And of course, I misssss the laughter all round. I love you guys. Muchos gracias for the girly outing. hahaha. I think Sri, Aida and I can be a bloody sitcom. We're so weird. Lol.
Square Two will always hold a special place in my heart. :D I love our little chats at the cafe.
Boy.
Girl. (and i look so baik. pepandai je posing camtu.)
Farhan's siblings. Hahaha. I think I look like the youngest here. Heh heh. Suka aku.
Customary picture with the bride and groom. Haha. The eggs at the corner of the picture fell over more than once. Hehehe..
The boy took this on the way to the wedding. I think once we found out the other's weird fascination with clouds, it sealed the deal. Hehe.
Fish spa today! Because I dared the boy to. And of course he reacted exactly as I thought he would. hehe.
And the boy only managed to put his heel in. tsk tsk. But at least it was five bucks for ten minutes. Hahahaha.. Totally less expensive than the one at Harbourfront.
(P.S : Do NOT arm Hana with a camera unless you want her to capture pictures like these. hehe.)
Okay, that's all I got.
Fishies go CHOMP! CHOMP! (and Ponyo's in your ear RIGHT NOW.)
