Celebrated mum's belated birthday and Hafiz's advanced birthday at Carousel yesterday.. Haha.. I have more scandalous pictures than these, but they will have to wait because I have to go to work today.
Work.
Hahahaha. And I am looking forward to it. Lol. (I can't imagine if I were jobless right now. I'd be bored out of my mind. Not to mention no work = no yoga. :S)
Ok, last photo, and then I need to go. :D
(aspiring air steward. Can ah tayke yer order?)
Happy birthday darling brother.. Hahaha.. You know We love you.. :D
(Lol.. I am sorry I won't be in Singapore on your birthday.. Budden you got your advanced habez birthday present from me, so there! Hahaha..)
Wahaha.. 3 movie synopsis/reviews in two days. I'm on a roll man. Hahaha..
This morning, I watched half of Atonement, then I came back after my 6 hour nap to watch the other half.
And despite my sister's warning about NOT watching it till the end, I had to. I HAD to find out what happened to Robbie and Cecelia. And then I was sad when I saw the ending. And all I thought was :
Why the hell does James McAvoy have to star in all these tragedies???
The only happy movie he made (to my satisfaction) was Penelope. He got strung with HOOKS in Last King Of Scotland!! -_- (which I vowed never to watch again. EVER.)
The movie was really really really good (and not for kids. definately. har.) and of course it was visually awesome (as all historical movies turn out to be nowadays). I didn't particularly like Kiera Knightly's character, Cecilia. All she seemed to be doing was smoking.
And yeah. I can't seem to get past her being Lizzie Bennet for some reason. When she does other characters I still see Lizzie walking towards the pigs. -_- (Yes. Even when she was a screaming harlot as Elizabeth Swann.)
Ahem.
Well, the movie is about um, star-crossed lovers, and Juliet's baby sister. (who sucks because she caused all the star-crossed-unfortunate-events to happen) Briony, Cecelia's little sister has a very vivid imagination (not as vivid as mine haha) and she thinks she understand what's happening.
We watch the movie from Briony's (stupid) point of view, and then we get to see what actually happens. Twice. And both times Briony mistakes her sister and Robbie's affection for each other for something else. (the fact that Briony herself has a crush on him does not help.)
(evil little sister)
And then the climax. Briony accidentally comes across her cousin being, for want of a better word, seduced by somebody, and in her vivid imagination she imagines it to be Robbie, and accuses him of trying to rape her cousin.
Briony then tells the police about it, and in doing so poor Robbie Turner is thrown in jail for three years for a crime he did not commit. :(
What happens next is even worse, and the movie goes on in such a way that you hate the little sister so much you think you would slap her if she were your own little sister.
The ending itself healed the sadness a bit. Just a bit. I hope Briony gets that stroke and dies. Soon. Very soon.
Haha. I won't reveal the twist of course. (but Briony dies in the end, to my immense satisfaction. or it could be only my imagination. heh.)
All in all, a very good movie. One I recommend. (but not to kids. hehe.)
Huda and I just saw Grey's Anatomy.. and before that, Becoming Jane. Haha.. Let's start with Becoming Jane.
:D:D:D:D Huda and I are just suckers for Jane Austen. And since this film was her supposed autobiography.. We thought we'd watch it.
Aaaaannnnddddd, we soon got depressed. Because Tom Lefroy is a handsome bugger and he didn't get Jane in the end. (And Jane died an old maid. BOO.)
The climax of the movie, where I was muttering and muttering about how Jane wasn't going to get him, just like Beatrix Potter, Huda, the little optimist said that would be sad (and that that's not going to happen), and that Jane would get the guy.
HAR HAR HAR.
Tom asked Jane to elope with him, but due to their carriage getting stuck in the mud, Jane found letters from his family in Limerick and found out that all his brothers and sisters were depending on him and so he can't marry a little nobody like her because she has no money.
And so Jane left him standing there all handsome and sad at the inn.
Tom got married to some other unnamed woman, and named his first daughter Jane.
Bloody annoying if you ask me. NO AUDIENCE SATISFACTION.
Anyway, watch if you're a fan of James McAvoy (which I am. hee..)
Anne Hathaway was a bit.. annoying. But who cares. hahahaha.
Ok next : Grey's Anatomy SEASON FINALE.
OH MY GOD. I have no idea how to blog about this. IT WAS WONDERFUL.
Huda cried about halfway in. I cried when I saw the candles. And ALEX crying. ... It's something when an asshole cries. Hahaa. So I cried with him. Because it was an apt way to end the season.
And.. from the looks of it.. There will be another season!!! ahahahahahaha.. Because of all the kissing at the end. So funneh. Huda was actually covering her eyes.. Hahahaahahaha..
And poor poor Mark. No more girlfriend. I think he should hook up with Rose. Because stupid Lexie is going to get George. And Izzie will get back with Alex (after Rebecca has succeeded to kill herself. :D)
And the biggest biggest one of all. DEREK AND MEREDITH. YAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!! *waves D&M banner*
Hahaha.. Ok and now for some more apt music from Jason Mraz. I actually bought his latest cd the other day. Hahaha.. Goooodd lah sia.
Dedicated to the boy. (just change all the Mraz parts to Hana and the dude parts to girl. hahaha..)
Dad and I are watching this 2005 Japanese show called Dororo.
It's about this guy who was born WITHOUT LIMBS, and EYES, EARS, VOICE BOX and INTERNAL ORGANS (just to name a few.)
Why?
Because his dad sacrificed FORTY-EIGHT pieces of him to the FORTY-EIGHT demons JUST SO THAT HE CAN RULE THE WORLD. (and the demons quite considerate lah. they took the limbs while he was in his mum's belly. har.)
Haha. Ok lor. 48 pieces only. The baby still lived. And the dad has a big-assed castle on the hill. Hahaha.. But of course the dad who wanted to rule the world asked the mum to send baby Dororo-without-limbs-and-other-essential-bits away. And she put him in a basket and pushed him into the river. :D
So now, Dororo has grown up and become a ghost-killer to get back his body parts AND THAT IS JUST EFFING WEIRD LAH.
Oooo! I see ninjas!!! (kejap samurai, kejap ninja. quite confusing leh this story.)
Anyway, Dororo became a handsome boy (despite having swords for arms. hahahahaahaha..) and he's now planning to dissect his father into 48 pieces ala poetic justice.
Movie itself is visually stunning, till you get to the ghosts. The ghosts are just plain dumb. It's like someone just had the general idea of what a Jap ghost looks like, then used play-doh to depict them. Sigh. Everything is cool till we get to the ghosts.
... The ghosts monologued, and Dororo killed them. Hmm. Wonder which part of his body was returned to him.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHA. now he can see!!!!! LOL!! (yes people, he has been fighting with two plastic eyes since the start of the movie. LOL. Now he got back his eyes and he still looks the same. BORING.)
Hahaha. See? Weren't kidding when I said he had sword hands. Hahaha. WAHHHH THE SAMURAI HAVE MISSILES!!!!!! LOL.
(stupid stupid movie. don't bother.)
~*~
What I really want to do is watch Becoming Jane. Unfortunately it's in the same cd as Dororo and so I have no choice. Nyeh.
Ok. Donuts are done. Now to sew Burger and Fries!
Photos Of The Day
I NEED SUSHI. Hahahaha.. That's Hana Maki, Tuna filling wrapped with salmon sashimi. Yummmm.
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend Lucky to have been where I have been Lucky to be coming home again Lucky we're in love in every way Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed Lucky to be coming home someday
~jason mraz, lucky
I love the way you love me, love you, love me, love you.
And I'm damn hungry. Had an omelet approximately 2 hours ago. Marinaded some boneless chicken 5 minutes ago.
Have about 3 chapters to cover. Hahaha. And the bodoh in me thought my exam was at 2.30pm.
Sungkhuhau midaa..
Exam is at 10am. As luck would have it, I checked my timetable approximately 3 hours ago, and found the error. Much to the annoyance of the mum and boyfriend.
ok. getting back to the books. I can't wait for the exam to be over.
:)
4 years with the boy today. Hahahahaha. How apt. :P
Okay. Wish me luck!!
All my love to the world!
Jung jung mama kesot! Haha.
(mum's mini bday celebration just now, but i'll elaborate after exams yea? kamsamidaa!)

Photo(s) Of The Day
Mu Yeong and my wastepaper basket.
He looks pissed because I tricked him into getting in. But obliged to sit there quietly while I took some shots of him. Hahaha. Then his irritation with me got the better of him and he scampered off.
Jang Geum is still on, and the stupid Yong-Non has wrecked the kitchen with chickens. Hahahahahahahahaha.
Oh well. Almost done with 5. Yipee!
Ok lah, because he's so cute, one more :
This is his "what-the-heck-did-i-do" face. Mulling things over in the wastepaper basket. Hee.
I am sitting on the sofa, taking a break from studying, typing this entry, while my laptop is on my new wastepaper basket from ikea, watching Jang-Geum cook cold noodles and longing so much for hot yoga. Or whatever yoga.
:(
4 more days of no-yoga-ness. Then Exams.
And then, lantak lah kau Hana.
Hahahaha. Wah. The king likes Jang-geum's cooking. (no bloody surprise there.) Oooo. Sir Min also bowed to Jang-geum. Haha. Then Gun-ying jealous. Hahahahahaha.
Like I said the last last last time I blogged about Jang-geum, I only watch it for Jang-geum's aunty and uncle parts, and the parts where Sir Min comes to talk to Jang-geum. Hahaha. It's so nauseatingly sweet, you can't not watch. :D
Oh, we (me, the two little boys, and the parents) went to watch Ironman just now, *squeals* and even though we got stupid seats, two rows from the front, and we had to sit with our necks craned for two hours, we had such a good time then mum and dad didn't even fall asleep this time!! hahahaha. (they are seriously prone to falling asleep in movie theatres. mum says it's because the seats are super comfortable.)
So yeah. That's all I had to blog about. Hahaha. Because I was feeling sleepy. But now I'm not. :D Wonderful what a little blogging does. Hee.
hahaha.. watching twinkle khanna wake up after she jumped off a cliff into a waterfall is simply hilarious. she looked as if she just realised the sky was bright. hahaha..
anyway. since i stay up late at night to study, hindi movies are my companion. haha.. i purposely choose to watch the vcds that mum bought a long time ago that don't have any subtitle.
Mela is such a bad movie. Seriously. aah well. I saw Paheli last night and discovered it was missing disc 3. zzzz.
Anyway, I came by to post this :
I distinctly remember falling over laughing when the guy said, "Spring Roll, On The Floor, People Walk To The School By Bus."
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.
I think I posted the Ah Long vid before, but the clip that comes after that is just priceless. Heart heart heart.
Ok lah. Hitting the books.
Eh wait. Haha. I just found this and it is absolutely sweet lah. hahaha. Brings me back to a looonnggg time ago. Even the place looks familiarly primary school-ish.

Good Burger
haha i can't believe i haven't seen this movie. argh.
"There are only four questions of importance in life: What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for? And what is worth dying for?
today was eventful, but I don't feel like talking about it. My highlight of the day though, was when this lady made a scene at the club, which was damn hilarious. I was exchanging amused smiles with the woman sitting at the next table. (because the shouting got super loud until everybody peered through the silk curtains to see what's happening.)
I like it when I've done so much stuff the whole day and I still don't feel tired. Haha.
Chapter 4 tonight. :D Ready ready ready.
Jas smsed me about our 'mutual' friend. -_- Even though it was probably a serious enough sms, all I did was roll my eyes at it. Enough is enough. I won't allow myself to care for people who only care about themselves.
Ok ah. I have nothing else to blog about. But there's always later. Haha. Night.
This song always makes me happy. Because it reminds me of You. :)
Had a rough night, but it's better now, I guess. I wish these little things would just go away. haha. But the more you wish, the more they come. So I'm resigned to it.
~*~
'Cause you are my satellite So I'm trying to keep you in sight But with all this space, can we keep it alive, Keep it alive So I'm asking you, baby Are you coming down tonight?
~Satellite - Natalie Imbruglia ~*~
Already at Chapter 3, since Nageb has seen fit to 'skip' a whole chapter in the study guide. I shall follow suit, and will try to skim through Chapter 2 if I have the time. *shrugs*
I wish Natalie Imbruglia would just hurry up and do a song with Bryan Adams already.
Or they could get married and have babies. (I don't care who is married to whom. I just don't. They'll have hot kids.)
Stress is a wonderful feeling once you get over the depressing-ness. After that it's just smooth sailing into nothingness. (and crabtrees.)

I'm reacting to yoga the way a girl reacts to ice cream. -_-
Aku sangatlah bangga sebab boleh pergi KL bulan June!
Hahahaha. I am still delirious. But I'm not in danger of concussing anytime soon lah. So, KL trip is very the on! Wheeeee!! Happy seh.
Met up with the cikgis at Lavender just now, where we got the coach tickets and arranged everything, and the experience itself was so funny I think I will be a walking, breathing stitch by the time I get back from KL. Hahahaha.
Mak oi. Exam belum habis dah menyenyeh pasal KL. Hahaha. Ok lah. I NEED to have something to look forward to after the 22nd. As it is, the boy has already added two more dates into my calendar, the 31st of May and the 1st of June, because TWO of his friends are getting MARRIED on those dates.
Haha. So cool, my status naik. Soon I will be going for two jemputans in one day! Hahahaha. *eyes all fellow women-nak-kena-kahwin friends*
Anyways, there will be the KL trip , 4 DIY biscuits/sushi/cake/EVM, a jigsaw puzzle, and my cross-stitch to look forward to. Haha.
Here we are inside a novel Waiting for an end But we don't know the authors of the book Maybe someone's writing chapters For us while we sleep From a million miles away
Stuck without a captain or a chart No one seems to know just who to follow anymore Hang on Hang on There's a twilight A nighttime and a dawn Who knows How long So hang on Hang on
If we fell inside a forest Would it make a sound? Doesn't seem there's anyone around Days are long and carry on We still don't understand We're a million miles away
Stuck without a captain or a chart No one seems to know just who to follow anymore Hang on Hang on There's a twilight A nighttime and a dawn Who knows How long So hang on Hang on
Hang on Hang on When all is shattered When all your hope is gone Who knows How long There is a twilight A nighttime and a dawn
We break We bend With hand in hand When hope is gone Just hang on Hang on
~Guster - Hang On
~*~
I am hanging on as we speak. My IBM notes are rubbish, and I've avoided looking at them for three days. But I have to at least DO something, and I finally am.
The paper was okay, but I will not get my hopes up. :)
I spent about an hour in IKEA today all by my one-some, and it was aweshum.
Tomorrow will be a date with IBM, and cikgu. Haha.
Then Saturday, I have a date with my Extra Value Meal. Hahaha.. Extra value would be the kite flying and the movie. Haha.
I can't wait for this to be over. My left hand feels broken. I think it will never get back it's actual shape after the hell I put it through.
Long talk with the boy.. which is still going on. Haha. I enjoy these as much as I think he does. We just jabber jabber until we get into an argument which usually ends up in a stalemate (where one wins and the other merajuks) and then suddenly we're happy again and the cycle repeats.
A friend feels that I try too hard when trying to forge new relationships with people. And I am inclined to agree. Haiz. Susah lah. Baik jangan try. But! I kenot give up! I am McHana!
I think I need sleep. And maybe some patapon. Haha.
4) I got caught up in Patapon and DIY fever. Completed the game AND completed my syllabus.
5) Watched IRONMAN twice in one day. That's a major feat.
6) Ji-soo is quite possibly preggers. Haha. With Mu-Yeong's kid. This is news that is yet to be confirmed. Dad hopes the babies come on Hafiz's birthday which is damn weird but there you are. (and by babies i mean kitties.)
7) I have become an exercise fanatic. -_- I look forward to Tuesdays so I can go to yoga and dance class. (and then the rest of the week I sit around the lounge area and decide which classes I want to try next. Haha. And I haven't exhausted their list.)
8) I am positively filled with nervous laughter. It's preferable to tears and b****iness, but I feel like I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. And the fact that I actually finished studying my syllabus for marketing means I either went through it too fast, or I went through it too fast. i.e I retained nothing. *bites fingers*
9) Farhan has been the perfect rock. :) Thank you very very very much. Haha. Doesn't it please you that I haven't gotten emotional (like the last three years) when May comes along? Hmm? Hmm? Hahahaha.
10) I haven't thought about what I wanted to do after exams, which is weird. I mean, I HAVE bought um, shtuff, to do once exams are ovah, but I want to get all the money I can get as soon as freaking possible. (and maybe go to Osaka.)
11) 3 friends have gotten/are getting ... engaged/married so far this year.. I know one is getting married in December. Hahaha. So that makes 4! Kahwin2 time!! (the boy's friends included makes 6. WAH!)
12) The M subject is kind of getting to me. A friend told me her cousin was worried that her daughter (who coincidentally was my schoolmate) doesn't have a boyfriend and will not quote "be able to" /quote get married. -_-
Ape. Saje. We're only 23 cik. Relax lah.
The subject has of course come up in my case. Heh. And, oh sorry, no details. :)
13) I haven't seen Aida or Sri in yonks. That's terrible. *shakes fist*
14) I am only blogging right now because it's preferable to kinda, blog instead of, you know.. write out definitions. Haha. Which I will do, once this blogpost is done.
15) Business is getting on well, despite my um, absence. Haha. But more will come. I can feel it in my bones.
16) I need more snacks if I'm going to stay up tonight.
17) I have new albums in my MP3 player: Guster, Plain White Tees, and All American Rejects, not to mention Sweeney Todd, Frou Frou (Imogen Heap), and an assortment of the Pixies, Cardigans, Bryan Adams (woo!) and The Verve Pipe. (and I think these are the only things (besides the boy) keeping me sane.)
20) The boy has started his, "Saturday I have soccer with the boys.." To which I exclaimed, "What Saturday!? Saturday is Hana day! What soccer?! What soccer?!" And to which he calmly replied, "I'm going to have to buy boots and stuff..." And to which I said, "Haha. Ok. Have fun. But Sunday is Hana day!! IRONMANROCKS!!"
Haha. I am still in love. :)
Speak to me, when all you got to keep is strong Move along, move along like I know you do And even when your hope is gone Move along, move along just to make it through Move along Move along
Ok. Hitting the books now. See you in 2 weeks time earth-o!
Photo of the month (har!)
I have changed my laces to reflect the colour of the sky. (and the boy is very tiny.)
