Bangsawan lah sey!

Met Aida and Sri over the weekend. :D They gave me my belated birthday present, which consisted of a sort of hamper of

Anyways, after that, Sri had to get a belt for some reason, (ok lah, i know the reason, but cannot tell, shh.) and we walked around Marina Square in search of a belt.

And found this quaint little store.

And the first thing i said was : "Eh, macam rambut orang." ("Eh, like someone's hair..")

There.. those black strands. hahahaa... Like hair kan?! Hur hur!

Anyways, here are Sri and Aida and the shop owner, admiring Sri's waist. Hehehehe.. :D

Sri in the fitting room.. Hahaha.. Don't ask why you need to put on a belt in the fitting room. :p Only Sri (and Aida, and I) has/have the answer to that question. Lol.

Aida and I got kind of bored waiting for Sri, so we decided to.... Take more photos!

I like the 2nd picture. Kinda whimsical. Plus, Aida didn't know I was taking a picture of her. Haha..

We both liked the decor too much lah eh.. Hahaha..

After that was Bangsawan with Sri and the Boy.

Overall, music was great, script, a little garbled, and I wanted MORE humour dammit. hahahaha.. Oh well.

Aaaaaand, I'm finally FINALLY tired. (I just came back from a BBQ with my WRSS ppl. Wah. 7 freaking years sia.) More on that tmr I guess. Perhaps. Maybe. Agaknya.

Which reminds me. I have a test to study for, and a business plan to like, do.

My Austin Bbq!

Haa.. Went to JB for a bbq over the weekend. :D

Of course, anybody can be fairer when compared to Hakim. hehehehe. You need sunblock dude.

Hello world!

:D Hana is fresh and perky and has decided to blog from the office. Haha..

Travelling from the Batam Ferry Terminal to our hotel. Haha.. (That's Tok Abah in his James Bond sunglasses. :P) Cramped in that van man. I dunch like. Hehe..

That's the hotel people. Hahaha.. It's not much ( I say that because it's pink) , but I heard that it's the best Batam's got. And I won't argue because :

They have a huge-ass world-class chandelier that hangs in the middle of the hotel lobby! Haha.. (okay lah, it was a very nice hotel compared to others I've been to. *cough* Bangkok *cough* hehe..)

Service at the hotel was excellent (and not to mention imaginative, haha..) because they provided bellcart services for the bags AND the kids. -_- Jakun nak mamps. (the kids not the hotel bellman.)

(HAHAHAHA.. Macam cartoon character.)

And after we checked in and everything, the three makciks and I, ventured out (in Batam traffic) in search of :

That is a LOT of food ok. 14 plates ahhhhhh.. Then we ordered two more tau! Bergedil. Hahaha..

Lame to the max. (all this is KC speak. I can't tahan it. I still don't know why I listen. -_-)

Is it spelt that way? Bergedil? Macam burger degil aje. Betul tak? I dunno. *slaps self*

A-N-Y-W-A-Y-S, after that, we went to Macs to get the kiddies something to eat. And the bill came up to this :

$118,800 okay. Hahaha.. okok. 118,800 rps. Chey, not glamour already when put the rps behind. Hahaha.. But imagine getting that figure in Singapore McDonalds'. Hahaha..

The extreme of it is that, you can get so much for a mere 80 Singapore cents. Hahaha.. So for example, if you get, Chicken Broth, Spaghetti, 4 pc nuggets, regular fries, iced milo, McFlurry, McFloat and an Ice-cream Sundae, it will only cost you : $6.40 And that's more than one person can eat.

I AM SERIOUS. *cuba kau bayangkannnnn* (how much Macs you can eat over there. hahahaha..)

Hahaha.. I still can't get over this street sign lah. So funneh. Be wau nun jim wau lam. hahahahahaa.....

And this pullcart is like, one whole Singapore pasar malam (minus $1 cars and insurance) on wheels lah dey! Sell penyapu, sell sponge, sell toys, sell balloons.. I think if you ask, he can produce genuinely fake branded bags too!

The guy pulling the pushcart also damn sardine. hahaha.. He crossed the road pulling his cart, and everybody is honking, and he doesn't give two twits. Hahaha.. Batam traffic for you.

Oh, speaking of honking, the van/taxi/lorry/motorcycle drivers there also honk at you sey! So rude. Hahaha.. Mak Busu and I saw this local running and running and running and running, trying to catch up to this stupid van, which didn't even slow down, and was also busily honking at us (we were on the other side). And then when we shook our heads to say, no, we don't want your service, the van drove off. And the poor, poor running man, stopped running lah of course. Pssh. Hahaha.. We laughed like crazy.

Anyways *checks time* it's time I started doing work. haha.. More on the silly customs incident when I'm home.

A food post

I have tons of foodie pictures, so i thought i'd put them up. Hee..

The name escapes me for some reason. Haha. And I don't like to eat this (because it takes too much time and effort) , but I do however like to look at it. Something nice about sizzling stuff in a pan. :D

Pineapple tarts from Batam! I SWEAR they don't have work over there. Can waste time making small little kuih tarts that look like mini fruit. Strawberry, mangosteen, carrot, starfruit, brinjal, corn, orange, chilli and even kuih makmur. hahaha..

Fig and Olive's Bbq dory. Overall : 6.5/10. The sauce was a bit much, but presentation superb. :D

Mash swirly potato that costs a BUCK. Hahaha.. At Secret Recipe.

Did you know that ppl in Ireland cook tulang EXACTLY like Tok Mak? It's so weird. It tasted the same. Either that or Tok Mak got her recipe from Ireland. Also from Secret Recipe.

Cafe Galilee is for ppl with so much money they can use it to buy this chocolate cake. And since i don't have that kind of money, won't be buying this for a second time lah. Although it tasted really, really good.

Last but not least, the pad thai I've been craving for since I got back to the motherland. Haiz. Can someone PLEASE go to Chatuchak and get this for me. I'll pay you a hundred dollars. (in Monopoly money.)

More Bday Shtuff!

Ahha.. I had an agency meeting on my birthday.. (Yes guys, I worked on my birthday. Hur hur.)

After that was agency dinner at Sanur, where my collegues surprised me with a Birthday cake!

The cake was really really good. Hahahaha.. I'm serious. I brought home two slices and they were devoured in like, 10 seconds by over-eager and hungry kids.

And, I should be asleep right now. 'Cept Hafiz is watching Dexter, and he's LITERALLY hooked. Dexter is deep and intriguing and absolutely morbid.

3 Days More.

Spent the whole day with Hakim, and the Boy (who joined us after Prayers) at Marina Square. Hahaha.. I am too tired to upload anymore pictures, so I only have one for now.

And nice horh?? :P Me and Hakim on the Bus. I can't believe I got it centered after 3 tries. Haha..

And........... I received my first birthday present (in advance, as usual) from the Boy! *beams* *SHHNGS!* Thank you, you wonderful, wonderful person. Hahaha

Ok, that's all I have. No more energy have I to update anymore. So sleep I shall. Attend wedding I shall tomorrow.
