And we laughed through the night..

Laughter, n. An interior convulsion, producing a distortion of the features and accompanied by inarticulate noises. It is infectious and, though intermittent, incurable.

:D

I want to blog about today, but I'm a little tired from the walking and the talking, and the singing, and the shopping, and whatever else we did today. :D

It was a wonderful day out, and I am truly the luckiest person in the world.

*beams*

I shall add pictures to this blogpost tomorrow, as I still wish to try out the new game. Hur hur.

And to you, thank you for the Play, thank you for the company, and most of all, thank you so so much for just being there.

Happy 51 months! Hehehe..

:D And I have now discovered something new!

I experimented today, and I must say.. I got really really nice results!

Hahaha.. Here they are, my new art babies!! I love love love them.. Muahaha.. I figured, I might as well transfer my doodles to all these little things, and they turned out great!

And how big is one you may ask?

No bigger than my thumb! Haha..

Suka seh! I have nice plans for these little things.. :D For now, if you want some, just ask ah. Haha.. I charge 1 for two bucks. :p Going cheap!!

(p.s : for those not in the know, you can use these charms to hang on your handphones, as key chains, as earrings, etc etc etc.. personalised some more lei! Hahaha..)

Or you can give it to people as gifts! (Although $2 gift a bit cheapo kan? buy two for earrings!)

Ride a cockhorse, to Banbury Cross..

Haha. Today was a disaster. But I didn't care. :)

Because you were there, and you made it okay again.

It's amazing how you do it.

Right now, I wanna go curl up with my book (which only has a few chapters left) and fall asleep.

I was ultra rude today, but the moppet in me refused to be swayed. So ya lah. Haha. No more Miss Nice girl. :D

Did I make you proud?

I reached admiralty at 7.50pm, only to remember that I had tuition at 8. Thank God for neighbouring tutees. Haha..

A lady's wallet fell through the gap while she was boarding the train. That occurred because she tried to help up two little girls who fell flat on their back. That occurred because a group of Thai kids pushed the two little girls down while alighting the train.

And all the lady did was scream, "It fell! My wallet fell! What am I going to do now? How? How? HOWWWWW???"

And an ang moh had to calm her down by reasoning with her to go to the control station.

I don't like to think how long she (and the other passengers on the other trains) had to wait to get her wallet back.

(alas, she dropped it at Novena.)

it's still 24 fever at my house.

gah.

ok. byebye. Hana's going to bed now.

:)

Thank you for the video dear.. Here's two for you..

[JASMINE:] I can't forget about my heart
[ALADDIN:] I can't forget about my heart
[JASMINE:] And how it felt
To fall for you right from the start
[ALADDIN:] I'm still falling
[JASMINE:] Whatever we may do
[ALADDIN:] Whatever we may do
[JASMINE:] You are here for me,
And I'll be there for you
[ALADDIN:] I'll be there

[BOTH:] To wish, to want, to wander
To find the sun
Through rain and thunder
[ALADDIN:] A cozy rendezvous
[JASMINE:] Yes, please!
[ALADDIN:] Candlelight for two
[IAGO:] Oh, geez!
Enough is enough!
[ALADDIN and JASMINE:]
We can't forget about love!

Aww.. mannnn...

1) I missed belly dance.

2) But I spent that time with my two monstars where we went to Causeway Point to eat drink and be merry. For a a short period of time. We bought new cds, and a grill for the window. (so that the kitties can't jump out.)

3) Apparently some stupid animal dug up kecik's grave. I am sad all over again.

4) Tomorrow is appointment at 12 at Tampines, then cold canvassing at two.

5) I really really feel this extreme amount of bit***ness. And it's affecting the way I function.

6) Huda and Hafiz are not home yet. I'm so damn bored. There's no one I can scold without feeling bad.

7) Rahul is asleep next to me in the most alarming way. His head is hanging over the sofa. Weurd.

8) Oh, Huda has come back. Happy dayy.

9) Huda says I look sick and she's not wrong. I feel awful. Gahhh.

10) I hope my being sick will work tmr like it did last Wed. Toa Payoh here I come.

11) This is a bad week, and I don't think I want to make it a good one. Let me wallow for a while yeah? It's been a while since my last wallow.

Being singularly pissy is DAMN annoying.

Haha. My title doesn't make sense.

Then again, I don't make sense.

My ugly girlfriend is here again, and I hate her. Even though she didn't bring the tummy aches this time round.

I feel 1) lazy 2) lethargic 3) pissy 4) VERY irritated

at what you might ask..

Well, nothing and everything in particular.

~*~

I feel like going out and spending that tidy sum in my account.
But I won't.

Fortunately there's a class waiting for me tonight. Which I will go for. If only it will ease this feeling of ultimate bi***iness for the moment.

I want to say all kinds of things to all kinds of people, but I won't. Because I will regret it once my girlfriend leaves.

I am super super hungry, and I've been waiting for 2 hours for food.

PISSED UNDERSTAND?

(i need a new book, a new movie, a new ANYTHING.)

Someone please help me shift the discomfort from one side of the tummy to the other.

Wreck.

I don't even have escape from horrorland to appease me.

I should go and get that grill + empty cd.

Except I'm much too lazy to get up from this semi-upright position on the sofa.

I hate this time of the month.

I sometimes think I don't know who I am anymore...

And it scares me.

Because I was always very sure.

I feel like hiding under the covers and not come out till it's over.

Whatever 'it' is.

I sometimes think I don't know who I am anymore...

Whose fault is that Hana?

Of Quiches, Belgians, Mickey Mice, and O minus blood.

I had SUCH a wonderful time last night you have NO idea. Hahahahaha..

The plan was set only a week ago where Isya and I started our harmless interlude with a facebook message.

"Eh, you're engaged now. High time to play a prank on the boys."

Hehe.

So the plan was this : That we, the girls, would book movie tickets separately for an 8pm movie on 08/08/08. We won't tell the boys that they're meeting each other. We would even sit them together in the dark movie theatre and see if they actually noticed each other.

Farhan was onto me the minute I said, "Can we go out on Friday night?"

Drats. -_-

But anyway, haha.. thanks for not letting on that you know about it. Laughs.. I had fun playing a prank on someone who knew about the prank before hand. Hahahaha..

So technically, the ONLY person who DIDN'T know about the prank was Isya's fiance, Hafiz. Hahahaha.. And the look on his face when Farhan turned to his side and said in a low voice, "Apa khabar?" was just priceless. Hahahahahaha... Isya was in tears by the time we got to the climax of the prank. (I think she was just sitting there during the whole movie trying not to laugh at the two boys.) Hahahaa..

The two bunkmates. haha..

After the movie, we went for Fatman Satay, and Isya and Hafiz had Lontong Goreng and Mee Goreng respectively. (What is it with these two boys and mee goreng?!)

And after that, we chilled at Coffee Bean *yang halal tu* and talked and laughed some more.

Group shot! :D

I spotted this while I was out and about Orchard yesterday. *beams* Farhan was so jealous he asked me for his own gold frame.

Nah. Hahaha..

last 2 pictures for the day :

:D oh the wonders of colour accents..

:D Just cause. Hehehehe..

Is it worth it?

"It's totally worth every second of every day."

:)

~*~

I am back, jamming with my two little monsters, taking a breather now while dad watches MORE 24. Gack.

I still feel a little sick, whether from the left over fever or headaches, I will never know.

Hopefully tmr will be a better day. Whoozy is really not a good feeling.

I need a big big breather. Luckily I know there's always someone I can depend on when the going gets tough.

:D

Boyzone in their element. I was totally besotted during Primary School. Haha.

Ok. I need to go. Eat. Hahaaha.. Maghribi Cheeken was good, but even I need some dinner. Lol.

Thank you once again for today. Even though you could barely walk cause you were super tired. Thank you thank you thank you.

Mummy madness.

Today was a wonderfully horrible day for me, so much so I took it out on Farhan, the poor boy, who in turn gave me a taste of my own wonderfully bitter medicine. In short, it turned into a laughing/scolding/nonsensical session where we talked about (of all things) World Of Warcraft.

But enough about that.

I wanted to talk about the uber sucky movie I watched over the weekend.

It's no use anticipating a movie anymore.

You're probably asking, "So how much did it suck Hana?"

I slept through a whole battle scene. That was how bad it was.

Things to gripe about the movie :

1) No Rachel Weisz. As quoted below :

Stunning actress RACHEL WEISZ has refused point blank to ever return to THE MUMMY movies.

Despite the fact that MUMMY RETURNS, the (2001) is currently making pots of money, Weisz says she's got nothing left to offer in the role.

She says, "I wouldn't even do another film for $200 million. I don't do this for money, and I'm not for sale. I've played the character, and I have nothing left to add to her. Two Mummy movies is enough. I did it because I thought it was a fantastic role for a woman, and it reminded me of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981) and ROMANCING THE STONE (1984). " (JM/WNWC/NFA)

Source: WENN

BOO. Then again. Let's have a look at Evelyn O'Connell shall we?

Before China :

After China :

*they even made her voice sound like the REAL Evelyn. Ugh. Poser. Hahahahaha..

Then again, I'm glad Rachel Weisz wasn't in this movie. Jatuh martabat you.

2) Alex the cutie grew up to be Alex the unwise. More hair gel yo?

I mean, yes, DUH, you can't expect the same child actor to play the big Alex. But then again, WHY BLOODY NOT? I thought the kid Alex was brilliant. (except for the stork thing. he over did the flapping elbow.)

Grown up Alex is worse.

He got it all. The stupid lines. Corny ones. The really really lame ones. Gah. I hate Big Alex.

Last gripe :

Will someone PLEASE tell me what the heck JET LI is doing in a mummy movie?!?!?!

A mummy is a corpse whose skin and flesh have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme cold, very low humidity, or lack of air when bodies are submerged in bogs. Mummies of humans and other animals have been found throughout the world, both as a result of natural preservation through unusual conditions, and as cultural artifacts to preserve the dead.
Being a Terracotta Soldier does NOT mean you're a mummy. Particularly when you're a short one. -_- (Jet Li is everywhere and it's starting to bug me.)

There were only two saving factors in the movie :

1) Rick O'Connell.

His son became fatter than him.
His son looked older than him.
HE STUCK A FISH HOOK IN THE SKIN OF HIS THROAT! OMG! WOO HOO!
Might as well have used baby Alex.

2) Jonathan

He opened a night club called Imhotep in Shanghai. HAHAHA.
He dreamed of opening a Casino in Shangrila.
He finally got his hands on a really big gem.
Peru, here I come.

Verdict : Just borrow someone's DVD when it comes out. Not worth your 8 bucks folks. Trust me.

A gale of laughter.

I have ALWAYS found malay idioms super super confusing. :D Huda has shown me that they can be truly easy to understand. You don't even need to know the proper meaning! Examples :

1) Harapkan pagar, pagar tak boleh harap.

2) Carik-carik bulu ayam, lama-lama jadi shuttlecock.

3) Hendak seribu daya, tak nak sudah.

4) Lembu punya susu, Cap Teh-ko dapat nama.

5) Ke mana tumpahnya kuah, kalau tidak ke bawah.

6) Tiada rotan, pelempang berguna juga.

7) (my personal fav.) Di mana ada gula-gula, di situ ada gula-gula.

8) Gajah mati meninggalkan gading, harimau mati meninggalkan tulang, manusia mati meninggal dunia. :D

9) Berapa berat mata memandang, berat lagi seguni beras.

10) Diam-diam ubi berisi, diam-diam orang bisu.

11) Sambil menyelam tengok kapal selam.

12) Sebab pulut santan binasa, sebab mulut habis pulut. (this one had me laughing for a good 5 minutes.)

13) Kecil-kecil cili padi, kecil lagi biji cili.

~*~

So there you have it. :D Credits are from some random Huda's-friend's-blog. But whatever. It rocks. Hahaha.

Updates about the new mummy movie later.

Have a good day world!
